Bank Holidays in October 2023: The threat of the festive season has started being felt in the country. During the coming months, many big festivals are going to come one after the other, which will start from this month itself. This will affect the functioning of banks.
According to the Reserve Bank, banks are going to remain closed for 9 days in different parts of the country next month. This means that every other day there will be a bank holiday somewhere.
Bank Holiday October 2023
Banks will remain closed on 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of October due to Sunday holiday. Apart from this, banks will also remain closed on the occasion of birth anniversary and festivals in different states.
2 October (Monday)- Gandhi Jayanti
14 October (Saturday) – Second Saturday
24 October (Tuesday) – Dussehra
28 October (Saturday) – Fourth Saturday
