The proposal for this has been approved by the Andhra Government in the cabinet meeting. Resolve to provide benefits of Arogya Shree Scheme also

Decision to start guaranteed pension scheme
The Jagan Mohan Reddy government had decided to launch a Guaranteed Pension Scheme in place of the existing Contributory Pension Scheme. This has come as a big relief for the state government employees in Andhra Pradesh.
For this, approval has been given in the cabinet to give pension to employees and pensioners under GPS at 50% of their last drawn salary instead of 20.3 percent of their basic salary. Regularization proposal also approved
Apart from this, the proposal for regularization of contract employees has also been approved by the Andhra Government.
