DA: There is a lot of hope of increasing the Dearness Allowance (DA) to the central employees. On the other hand, DA is increased from time to time by the government. Although 18 months DA of central employees is still pending.

Regarding which a reply has also been filed in the Parliament on behalf of the government. Along with this, the pending DA of 18 months has also been discussed. Lakhs of central government employees are waiting for their 18 months’ dearness allowance (DA) arrears. Regarding which it has been said by the Ministry of Finance that after Corona this was done to reduce the pressure on government finances.

Freeze three installments

Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said in the Rajya Sabha that the decision to freeze the three installments of DA of central government employees on January 1, 2020, July 1, 2020 and January 1, 2021 was taken in view of the coronavirus. During the Corona period, there was a lot of economic pressure on the government. In such a situation, such a step was taken to reduce the pressure of finance.

Dearness Allowance

Pankaj Chowdhary said that it was not considered possible to release the outstanding DA/DR for the financial year 2020-21 for the financial impact of the pandemic in the year 2020 and to finance the welfare measures taken by the government. However, till when the outstanding DA of 18 months will be paid, the stand has not been clarified by the government at the moment.

Money is left for 18 months

Choudhary also informed that several representations have been received from various employees/pensioners associations of the Central Government regarding the release of DA/DR arrears for 18 months. At the same time last year, it was told by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman that by stopping DA and DR, about Rs 34,402 crore was saved by the government. However, in July 2021, the ban on DA was removed and DA and DR allowances were provided to the employees.

7th pay commission: Dearness allowance of central employees has increased. The central government had approved 4 percent DA for the employees. Now it is expected that a decision should also be taken on the DA arrears that are stuck for 18 months.

Good news for central employees. The date of arrears of dearness allowance has been confirmed. A decision can be taken soon on the pending dues of 18 months. The union meeting with the cabinet secretary is to be held in the month of November. However, it is difficult to say what will be the outcome of the meeting with the cabinet secretary. Recently, the Union Cabinet had approved the dearness allowance of the employees. His dearness allowance has gone up to 38 percent. This time a hike of 4 percent has been given. But, now the question is about 18 months arrears. What is the latest update on this?

Demand made from cabinet secretary

There is a lot of agitation on the dues of central employees. The arrears of Dearness Allowance (DA Arrear) from January 2020 to June 2021 is pending. Since the announcement of DA, unions of central employees are continuously demanding dearness allowance. Recently, the JCM Secretary had written a letter to the Cabinet Secretary, in which he had sought time to negotiate on the arrears and demanded that dearness allowance is the right of the employees, a decision should be taken on this. The union believes that there can be a negotiated settlement with the government on the one-time payment of the dues.

How much money are you likely to get?

The amount is huge. If the central employees get arrears under the 7th Pay Commission (7th Pay Commission), there will be a lot of support for them. According to Shiv Gopal Mishra of the National Council of JCM (Staff Side), the outstanding dues of employees at Level-1 range from Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. At the same time, an employee at Level-13 (7th CPC basic pay scale Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900) and Level-14 (pay scale) will have arrears of Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200 in his hands. .

How will the calculation of Arrear be done?

The minimum grade pay of a central employee is Rs 1800 (Level-1 Basic Pay Scale range 18000 to 56900) will get Rs 4320 [{4 percent of 18000} X 6]. At the same time, those with [{4 percent of 56900}X6] will get arrears of Rs 13656. Under the 7th Pay Commission, the DA arrears of central employees from July to December 2020 on the minimum grade pay is Rs 3,240 [{3 percent of 18,000}x6]. At the same time, those with [{3 percent of Rs 56,900}x6] get Rs 10,242. If we calculate the DA arrears between January and July 2021, it will be 4,320 [{4 percent of Rs 18,000}x6]. At the same time, [{4 percent of ₹56,900}x6] will be Rs.13,656.

Payment can be made on the basis of 4320+3240+4320

Means if the minimum salary according to the pay matrix of central employees is Rs 18000, he will get Rs 11,880 as DA Arrear (Rs 4320+3240+4320). In the year 2022, in the cabinet meeting held on September 28, dearness allowance has been increased by 4 percent to 38 percent. It has been implemented from 1st July 2022.

The dearness allowance of January 2020, June 2020, January 2021 was frozen due to Corona. When the ban was lifted last year, the government increased dearness allowance by 11 per cent. But, the arrears of that 18 months were not given. Now a meeting can be held on 18th November on the arrears of 18 months. If there is an agreement in this meeting, then there is a possibility of payment of arrears.

7th Pay Commission latest news: Central employees and pensioners can get good news soon. The government is once again going to send a hefty amount to the account of the employees.

Actually, the government’s decision can come on 18 Months DA Arrear. According to the information, the time has been fixed for discussion on this subject with the Cabinet Secretary, and it is expected that this time a decision can be taken on DA arrears of 18 months. Employees and pensioners have full hope from the government this time.

2 lakh will come in the account of central employees!

In fact, a continuous demand is being made regarding the 18-month DA arrears of the central employee stuck since the Corona period. But till now no consensus has been reached with the government on this subject. However, in the meanwhile the employees have got DA Hike, and arrear money has also come into the account.

But no update has been received on the outstanding arrears of 18 months. Actually, if the government agrees to this and if the central employees get the arrears of DA Arrear under the 7th Pay Commission, then there will be a huge reduction in the account of the employees. And this is the reason why the workers are constantly standing on their demand.

Know how much will be the payment?

Now let’s talk about how much money will come in the account of the employees? We have already told the readers that according to Shiv Gopal Mishra of National Council of JCM (Staff Side), different employees have different arrears. While the DA arrears of Level-1 employees ranges from Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554, those of Level-13 (7th CPC Basic Pay-Scale Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900 or Level-14 (Pay-Scale) If the calculation is done, then the DA arrears will be paid in the hands of an employee from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200. But till now this amount has not been clarified nor its installments. It is being estimated that the government Can release it in some installments.

Hope remains on 18 months arrears

On one hand, the government is not clarifying any position on this subject, but the demand of the employees remains constant. Significantly, at present the dearness allowance of central employees has increased from 34 per cent to 38 per cent. Now pensioners and employees have hope from the government that in view of rising inflation, the government can take a decision on this soon and can release this amount soon in the interest of the employees.

Huge amount will come in the account of central employees

Actually, the central employees are continuously demanding about their 18 months DA arrears, but the government has not yet spoken about any idea on this.

Now let’s talk about how much money will come in the account of the employees? According to Shiv Gopal Mishra of National Council of JCM (Staff Side), different employees have different arrears.

The DA arrears of Level-1 employees ranges from Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554, while for Level-13 (7th CPC Basic Pay-Scale Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900 or Level-14 (Pay-Scale) If the calculation is done then the DA arrears in the hands of an employee will be paid from Rs 1,44,200 to Rs 2,18,200.

Expectation on 18 months arrears

It is worth mentioning that after the Corona period, the central government had increased the dearness allowance by 11 percent outright from July 1, 2020, but during that period the arrears of dearness allowance have not yet been given to the employees. That is, the employees did not get their outstanding arrears. On this subject last year, it was told to the Finance Ministry that arrears will not be paid in lieu of freeze dearness allowance.

But, on the other hand, due to the demands of the organizations, the pressure on the government is continuously increasing. At present, the dearness allowance of central employees has increased from 34 per cent to 38 per cent. Now pensioners and employees have hope from the government that in view of rising inflation, the government can take a decision on this soon.

7th Pay Commission latest news: Central employees and pensioners can get good news soon. The path for 18 months DA arrears seems to be clear. Now PM Modi will decide on this outstanding arrears.

Very good news is going to come soon for central employees and pensioners. The government can now pronounce its verdict on 18 Months DA Arrear (18 Months DA Arrear). Actually, after a long wait, now the pensioners have asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to find a solution to this matter. The pensioners’ organization has also submitted a memorandum for this. In this memorandum, PM Modi has been urged to give a decision on this subject soon. If this happens, then a huge amount will come in the account of central employees and pensioners.

If DA Arrear comes then you will get big money

The employees are standing firm on their demand regarding this 18 months DA arrears. If the central employees get the arrears of DA Arrear under the 7th Pay Commission (7th Pay Commission), a huge amount will come in the account of the employees. According to Shiv Gopal Mishra of the National Council of JCM (Staff Side), the DA arrears of Level-1 employees range from Rs 11,880 to Rs 37,554. At the same time, if the calculation will be done for Level-13 (7th CPC basic pay scale Rs 1,23,100 to Rs 2,15,900 or Level-14 (pay scale), then the DA arrears in the hands of an employee will be Rs 1,44,200 to 2 ,18,200 will be paid.

No decision on 18 months arrears

It is noteworthy that after the Corona period, the Central Government had increased the dearness allowance by 11 percent in a lump sum from July 1, 2020. But, the arrears of Dearness Allowance during that period (18 months) have not yet been paid to the employees. On this subject, it was said on behalf of the Finance Ministry last year that arrears will not be paid in lieu of freeze dearness allowance. But, on the other hand, due to the demands of the organizations, the pressure on the government is increasing continuously. At present, the dearness allowance of central employees has increased from 34 per cent to 38 per cent.

What is the logic of pensioners?

In fact, the pensioners have appealed that the Ministry of Finance should give the arrears of DA / DR withheld between January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. We will be extremely grateful for immediate action on this. Pensioners argue that retail inflation had risen sharply when DA/DR was stopped and prices of petrol and diesel, edible oil and pulses were also at record highs. In such a situation, the government should not stop this outstanding arrears money.

Pensioners are waiting

Let us tell you that if these arrears are received by the employees, then a hefty amount will come in their account. In such a situation, pensioners say that DA / DR is paid for the livelihood of the pensioners. During the 18 months, the cost and expenses increased continuously but the allowances did not increase. In such a situation, it is not in their interest to withhold dearness relief as part of pension, the only income of pensioners. Therefore, pensioners say that the government should consider it once again.

The post 7th Pay Commission: Central employees will get more than 2 lakhs on this day, due date of 18 months DA Arrear confirmed! first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.
