<p>While in India, there is a push for a 90-hour, 70-hour working week, on the other hand, 200 companies in Britain have taken a historic decision, under which employees will have to work only four days and get three days off. This step has been taken with the aim of improving work-life balance and increasing employee satisfaction. This new policy will benefit more than 5,000 employees working in different sectors, such as marketing, technology and charity.</p>

According to The Guardian report, Foundation Campaign Director Joe Ryle said that &#8220;the 9 to 5 work pattern was developed 100 years ago and is no longer suitable for modern times&#8221;. He further said that this change will give employees 50 percent more free time, which will enable them to live a happy and satisfied life.</p>
