Let us tell you that now if a person wants to update his Aadhaar card, he has to go to the Aadhaar center. Whether it is a change in name, address, date of birth or mobile number, a physical visit is required for every update.

UIDAI’s deadline for free update was earlier 14 March 2024, which has been extended. The service of free update of Aadhaar will be available on myAadhaar Portal. UIDAI wants people to update their Aadhaar documents. Free Aadhaar update service will be available only on online update. If you go to Aadhaar center and update Aadhaar, you will have to pay the charge for update.
