										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3><strong>In summer, the electricity bill of the house usually increases with the increase in temperature. Due to fans, coolers, ACs, the electricity bill is bound to increase but now the people of Assam do not need to worry about it.</strong></h3>
<p>Even before the scorching heat, the government has reduced the electricity rates. The state government has reduced the electricity rates in the state.</p>
<p>Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced relief to the people of the state. He said that poor families will get cheap electricity. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote on his social media account, “April has come, the temperature will rise, but your electricity bill will be lower. From today, families of Assam will get a discount of Rs 1 per unit in the electricity bill. Also, an additional discount will be given at the end of the year.”</p>

<p>Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday announced a reduction in electricity tariffs in the state. The Chief Minister announced a reduction of Rs 1 per unit in electricity tariffs for all domestic consumers. He said that further reduction in electricity tariffs will be announced by the end of this year. Officials said that electricity charges will be reduced by Rs 1 per unit for all categories of domestic consumers, including Jeevan Dhara and &#8216;High Tension&#8217;.</p>
<h3><strong>The promise made in the budget has been fulfilled</strong></h3>
<p>It is worth noting that the Assam government had already announced the decision that electricity tariffs will be reduced from April 1, 2025. The new tariffs have come into effect from today, which will benefit all domestic consumers by reducing the cost by Rs 1 per unit.</p>

<p>Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justices Surya Kant, MM Sundresh and Manoj Mishra delivered the majority verdict, while Justice JB Pardiwala dissented. Section 6A was included in the Assam Accord in 1985 to grant citizenship benefits to illegal immigrants from Bangladesh who entered Assam between January 1, 1966 and March 25, 1971.</p>

<p>According to the weather bulletin of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), widespread light to moderate rains with thunder, lightning and strong winds (30-40 kmph) are likely in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal during the next 5 days.</p>
<p>While heavy to very heavy rains are likely at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh during 19th to 21st. A red alert has been issued today regarding rain in these states. While there is a red alert for heatwave in entire Uttar Pradesh today. IMD has also issued an orange alert regarding heatwave in Madhya Pradesh, Chandigarh, Delhi and Haryana. The effect of heat wave can be seen in some parts of Bihar as well.</p>

<p>The maximum temperature is expected to remain between 44-46 degree Celsius in many parts of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and some parts of North Madhya Pradesh, South Bihar, North Rajasthan. However, Delhiites may get some relief from the heat. There is a possibility of scattered light rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds (30-40 kmph) in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand during June 19 to 22 and in Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan during June 19 to 20, 2024.</p>
<p>According to the IMD, light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds (30-40 kmph) is likely to occur sporadic to fairly widespread over Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha during the next 5 days. At the same time, heavy rain is likely at some isolated places over Odisha and Bihar during the next 5 days. Orange alert has been issued regarding rain in Bihar. According to the IMD, heavy rains are likely over Konkan and Goa and Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra during June 19-21 and over Gujarat on June 20 and 21.</p>

The Meteorological Department has predicted that there will be heavy rains in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh for the next five days.</strong></p>
<p>Apart from this, very heavy rain is likely over Bihar, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya today. After that it will decrease. Rain activities are going to increase again from July 17 over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Konkan and Goa.</p>
<p>Talking about North West India, there is an alert for five days in UP and Uttarakhand. Apart from this, a warning of torrential rain has been issued in the areas of East Rajasthan for the next five days. On July 17, there may be heavy rains in Uttarakhand. Talking about East and Northeast India, heavy to very heavy rains may occur over all Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim between July 14-17, Bihar between July 14 and 17, Odisha for the next five days.</p>
<p>There is a possibility of heavy rains in Jharkhand on July 15-17, Gangetic West Bengal on July 14 and 15. In addition, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya would receive very heavy rain for the next four days. At the same time, there will be heavy rains in Arunachal Pradesh between July 14 and 16.</p>
<p>Talking about Central India, heavy rains will occur in West Madhya Pradesh for the next five days. There is an alert for heavy rains in Vidarbha on 14, 17 and 18 July. Apart from this, East Madhya Pradesh will also receive rain for five days. There is a warning of heavy rains in Chhattisgarh between July 16-18.</p>
<p>Coming to West India, heavy rains will continue over Konkan and Goa for the next five days. There is a warning of heavy rain in the Ghat areas of central Maharashtra on July 14, 15, in Gujarat on July 14 and 18. The Meteorological Department has said that there will be heavy rains for five days during July 14-18 in Coastal Karnataka. Heavy rain warning has been issued for Telangana, Kerala, Mahe on July 14 and 18.</p>
<p><strong>Heavy rain in Mumbai since morning, traffic affected</strong></p>
<p>Heavy rains lashed Mumbai and its suburbs since Friday morning, leading to water-logging at some places, affecting traffic. The officers provided this information. Railway officials claimed that trains in the suburbs were running on schedule, while commuters complained of a delay of 15 minutes in the services.</p>
<p>Moderate to heavy rain has been lashing the metropolis since early morning. It was raining lightly here for the last one week. Officials said that the intensity of rain is more in the city as compared to the suburbs. Vehicular movement slowed down on the roads due to water-logging in some parts of the city. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in some states including Odisha, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Meghalaya, Jharkhand, Mizoram, West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh etc. for the next five days.</p>
<p>The Indian Meteorological Department says that a cyclonic storm is again seen forming in the upper levels of the northwestern Bay of Bengal. The weather office said that the east-west trough line runs over North Punjab to the cyclonic circulation which extends up to the lower tropospheric level.</p>
<p>Prediction of Indian Meteorological Department – During the next 5 days, heavy rain is expected in many areas of the country with sporadic thunderstorms and lightning. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Odisha during June 23-26. Scattered heavy rainfall is also likely over Arunachal Pradesh and Bihar on June 23. Assam and Meghalaya on 23rd, 26th and 27th, Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram during 23rd to 27th, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim on 23rd and 26th, Odisha on 27th and Jharkhand on 25th and 26th .</p>
<p>Isolated heavy/very heavy rainfall very likely over Uttarakhand &amp; Himachal Pradesh during 23-27th and isolated heavy falls very likely over Uttar Pradesh during 24-26th. Heavy rain very likely over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and East Rajasthan during June 25-27.</p>
<p>Heavy/very heavy rain, thunderstorm and lightning at isolated places over the region (Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha) during next 5 days The falls will be accompanied by light/moderate widespread rain. Extremely heavy rainfall likely at isolated places over Chhattisgarh on June 24</p>
<p>Heavy/very heavy rainfall at isolated places also very likely over Coastal Karnataka during 23rd-27th; over Coastal Andhra Pradesh on 23rd and 24th; Telangana during 23-25; Heavy rains are also likely over Kerala during June 25-27 and over Interior Karnataka on June 26 and 27. Light/moderate to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy/very heavy falls, thunderstorm and lightning very likely over Konkan &amp; Goa during 23-27 June.</p>
<p>Light/moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated thunder and lightning very likely over Madhya Maharashtra &amp; Marathwada during 24-27 June and over Gujarat region on 26 &amp; 27 June. <p>The Meteorological Department said in its ongoing forecast that there will be rain in many areas of the country for the next few days. Along with this, a forecast of hailstorm has also been issued in some states. Apart from this, there is no possibility of heat wave for the next five days.</p>
<p><strong>It will rain in these states</strong></p>
<p>Along with this, the Meteorological Department said that during the next five days, an estimate of rain with strong thunder and lightning has been issued in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, light rain may also occur over Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala.</p>
<p><strong>Badra will also rain in Telangana, Assam, Meghalaya</strong></p>
<p>Let us tell you that in the eastern parts of the country, a forecast of rain has been issued for the next four days with thunder and lightning. There is a strong possibility of heavy rains in Telangana on 27 April. Along with this, there is a possibility of rain in Northeast India during the next 5 days. Arunachal Pradesh may receive rain between April 27 and 29, while Assam and Meghalaya may receive rain on April 28 and 29. Apart from this, an alert has also been issued regarding rain in Maharashtra, Marathwada, Gujarat.</p>
<p>The Meteorological Department said that along with rain, hailstorm will also occur in Vidarbha, South Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, there is a possibility of hailstorm at different places in Telangana. Hail may fall in Odisha and Jharkhand on 27 April. A forecast of hailstorm has been issued for Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada between April 25 and 27, while at various places in Himachal Pradesh on April 26 and 27.</p>

<p>According to a major update received from the Meteorological Department, the weather pattern is going to change today in the country&#8217;s capital Delhi as well. For five days from Thursday, not only will dark thick clouds encamp in the sky, but the process of light rain will also continue. The mercury will also remain less than normal.</p>
<p>The mercury will be around 36 degrees on Thursday and Friday, while on April 30 it will be close to 32 degrees. Light drizzle to heavy showers may also occur at some places on Thursday and Friday. There is a possibility of rain in some areas with strong wind on Saturday and Sunday. On May 1, it will be cloudy and scattered rain may occur in some areas.</p>
