Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has announced the recruitment of Assistant Professor. For this, the online application will start from 12 January 2025 and will continue till 10 February. The form will have to be filled by visiting the commission’s website. According to the notification, there are 575 posts of Assistant Professor.

The notification issued by the Commission states that online applications are invited for recruitment to a total of 575 posts of Assistant Professor in 30 subjects under the Rajasthan Education Service (College Branch) Rules, 1986 for the College Education Department. It further states that if the candidate wants to apply for more than one subject, then he will have to apply separately for each subject.

Educational Qualification for the Post of Assistant Professor

Candidates for the post of Assistant Professor should have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks. It is also necessary to pass NET/CSIR/SLET/SET.

Age limit for the post

The age limit for this recruitment is 21 to 40 years. Age will be calculated from July 1, 2025. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in the upper age limit as per the rules.

Broad Specialist – MD or MS or DNB Diploma. Three years experience in teaching.
Dentistry – MDS or three years experience in teaching.
Non Medical – Master’s degree and Doctorate degree in the concerned subject.

Maximum age limit – 40 years.
