Late night fun and partying will not be the same in the Ramgarhtal area of Gorakhpur. Time limits are being imposed on late night activities in the floating restaurant and its associated bar and nightclub. Keeping in mind the safety and discipline, the Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) has decided to take strict action regarding night time activities.

In fact, some incidents of fights between some youths coming out of the floating restaurant had come to light recently. A video also went viral in which boys and girls were seen fighting with each other inside the bar. The local administration was worried due to these incidents happening under the influence of alcohol. After this, the GDA decided to change the timings of these places.

Nightclubs till 9pm

Now all bar and nightclub activities in floating restaurants can be done only till 9pm. They should not have a license till 12 midnight. The GDA clearly states that all businesses in its area will adhere to the stipulated time limit.

It is worth noting that earlier these activities were

allowed till 11 pm, which is now being reduced to 9 pm. However, there will be no restrictions on things like walking around the lake or walking on the footpath. People will be able to enjoy the view from the lake shore, but cruises, restaurants or adventure activities will be available only for limited hours. This decision will definitely affect floating restaurants and related businesses, but the GDA believes that this decision is necessary to keep the city’s atmosphere calm and safe. The order is likely to come into effect next week, after which there will be only silence after 9 pm.

The post Ban on night parties, new GDA rules change cruise and floating hours first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

There may be a ban on the sale of products related to Halal certification in UP. Some companies were running their business in the name of Halal certification. These people were certifying dairy, textiles, sugar, snacks, spices and soap as Halal. CM Yogi has taken cognizance of this matter and strict action may be taken on it.

What does Halal mean?

Halal is an Arabic word meaning ‘lawful’. Halal primarily refers to Islam and its food laws (especially meat). Actually, there are some rules regarding food in Muslim religion. In which it is said that Muslims are allowed to eat Halal meat but not allowed to eat Jhatka meat.

What is the difference between Halal and Jhatka meat?

Halal meat is that in which the animal is cut slowly with a sharp weapon and Jhatka meat is that in which the animal is cut in one stroke.

What is Halal certification?

In countries with Muslim population, if a company has to sell food items, it takes ‘Halal certification’. Halal certification is done by the government in many Islamic countries around the world.

Although FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) certification can be seen on almost all food items in India, this authority does not give Halal certification in India. However, there are some companies in India which provide Halal certification.

‘Halal certification’ is considered a guarantee that the product in question has been made in accordance with Muslim Sharia law. There is no adulteration in it and no animal or its by-product has been used in it, which is considered ‘haram’ in Islam. Generally, Halal certification is for both veg and non-veg products.
