										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3><strong>Bandhan Bank, Equitas Small Finance Bank and Unity Small Finance Bank are offering 7.75% interest on 3-year FDs for senior citizens. </strong></h3>
<p>After the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) reduced the repo rate three times in a row, banks have reduced the interest rate on FDs. Due to this, the return on FDs has reduced significantly. The biggest loss has been suffered by senior citizens because they are very dependent on FDs. However, it is not that the option has ended. Many banks are still giving better interest on FDs. We are telling you about such banks, which are giving up to 8.50% interest on 3-year FDs.</p>
<h3><strong>Opportunity in small finance banks</strong></h3>
<p>Utkarsh Small Finance Bank is offering an interest rate of 8.50 percent to senior citizens on 3-year FDs. If a senior citizen makes an FD for three years in this bank, then 1 lakh will increase to Rs 1.26 lakh. Jana Small Finance Bank offers an interest rate of 8.25 percent on FDs with a tenure of three years. If a senior citizen invests Rs 1 lakh, then this amount will increase to Rs 1.25 lakh on maturity.</p>
<h3><strong>Yes Bank is also giving better interest</strong></h3>
<p>Suryoday Small Finance Bank offers an interest rate of 8.15 per cent on three-year FDs. A deposit of Rs 1 lakh will become Rs 1.24 lakh on maturity. Yes Bank offers an interest rate of 7.85 per cent on three-year FDs for senior citizens. An investment of Rs 1 lakh will become Rs 1.24 lakh on maturity. Bandhan Bank, Equitas Small Finance Bank and Unity Small Finance Bank offer an interest rate of 7.75 per cent on three-year FDs for senior citizens. This means an investment of Rs 1 lakh will become Rs 1.23 lakh on maturity. Ujjivan Small Finance Bank and RBL Bank offer an interest rate of 7.70 per cent. An investment of Rs 1 lakh will become Rs 1.23 lakh on maturity.</p>
<h3><strong>There is an opportunity to invest in these banks as well</strong></h3>
<p>Indusind Bank offers 7.50 percent interest rate on 3-year FD. If you invest Rs 1 lakh, the amount will become Rs 1.23 lakh on maturity. DCB Bank, IDFC First Bank and Jammu and Kashmir Bank offer 7.25 percent interest rate. <p>Let us tell you that under the Inspire facility of Bandhan Bank, you will get the benefit of interest at the rate of 8.35 percent per annum on FD of 500 days. The bank has issued a statement regarding this.</p>

<p>The bank has said in the statement that &#8216;Inspire&#8217; will also provide an advanced banking experience along with health care benefits. It will extend existing benefits like preferential interest rates, priority banking services and doorstep banking facilities to the bank&#8217;s &#8216;Senior Citizen Customers&#8217;.</p>

<p>Bandhan Bank is offering attractive interest rates on fixed deposits to senior citizens. Senior citizens can avail interest up to 8.35 percent for a period of 500 days. Apart from this, senior citizens can avail the benefit of 7.5 percent per annum on tax saver FD.</p>

<p>Sujoy Roy, Head of Branch Banking, Bandhan Bank, said that we recognize the importance and need of financial independence at every age. Bandhan Bank has come up with this carefully designed benefit offering for senior citizens.</p>
<h4><strong>These facilities will be available from doctor consultation at cheap rates.</strong></h4>
<p>Bandhan Bank said that you will get many special benefits under the &#8216;Inspire&#8217; program. In this you will get the benefit of special discounts on purchase of medicines, diagnostic services and medical treatment. Apart from this, you will also get the benefit of discount on doctor consultation. There will also be discounts on medical checkups, dental care and healthcare service providers.</p>
<h4><strong>Senior citizens talk directly to bank officials</strong></h4>
<p>Along with this, it is also planning to include additional features like direct access to phone banking officer to ease the banking experience of senior citizen customers.</p>

<p><strong>Know tax provisions on FD</strong></p>
<p>The interest income from all term fixed deposits is fully taxable. That is, after adding this income to the total income of the investor, it will have to be taxed according to the tax slab. According to the Income Tax Act, people aged 60 years or more are kept in the senior citizen category. Let us know about the interest rate of five banks- Axis Bank is offering 6.75% for one year, 7.26% for two years and 7.00% for 3 years. Senior citizens are being given additional interest of 0.75% for all the three tenures.</p>
<p>Bandhan Bank has offered an interest rate of 7.25% for one year, 8.00% for 600 days, 7.25% for 2 years and 3 years. For senior citizens, additional interest of 0.50% is being given in every tenure.</p>
<p>RBL Bank is offering 7.00% for one year, 7.80% for 725 days, 7.00% for 2 years and 3 years. 0.50% additional interest is being offered by the bank for senior citizens.</p>
<p>IDFC First Bank is offering 6.75% interest for one year, 7.25% for 2 years and 7.75% for 3 years. 0.50% additional interest is being offered by the bank on all the three tenures.</p>
<p>DCB Bank is offering 7.25% interest for one year FD, 8.00% for 2 years and 7.60% for 3 years. DCB is also offering an additional interest of 0.50% on all the three tenures.</p>

Apart from this, common people are getting 6.50 percent interest on FDs of one year to less than 2 years, 5.50 percent interest on FDs of 180 to 210 days. The bank is giving 5.75% interest for 211 days. 5.75% interest is being received on FDs ranging from 2 years to less than 5 years. 5.50% on FDs of 5 years and up to 10 years, 5% interest is being received on FDs of 46 days to 179 days. 3.50 percent interest is being received on FD of 7 to 45 days.</p>

<p>In the new year, in the first week of January, many banks including Bandhan Bank, Punjab National Bank, Yes Bank and Kotak Mahindra have announced to increase the interest rate. The increased rates will be applicable for fixed deposits up to ₹2 crore. Some economic analysts predict that RBI may announce or implement another hike in February 2023. Due to this, the possibility of further increase in interest rates has increased in the coming days.</p>
<ul>
<li>Punjab National Bank on January 1 announced an increase in the rates of interest on savings accounts and fixed deposits. PNB increased the interest rate on savings account by 25 basis points, while increased the interest rate on FD by up to 50 basis points. The bank is now offering 4 to 8 percent interest rate on FD.</li>
<li>Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) on January 1 increased the interest rate on short-term FDs of 7 to 90 days by 75 basis points. The bank currently offers a maximum interest of 6.55% on FDs of 444 days. While the additional rates for senior citizens remain at 0.50% and 0.75% respectively.</li>
<li>On January 1, Punjab and Sindh Bank has announced an increase in the interest on FDs. The bank is currently offering 2.80% to 6.25% interest on Fixed Deposits with maturities ranging from 7 days to 10 years, while the rate for a tenure of 601 days is 7%.</li>
<li>Bandhan Bank has announced an increase in interest on FDs on January 5, 2023. The bank currently offers 3.00% to 5.85% on FDs maturing in 7 days to 10 years, while for senior citizens it ranges from 3.75% to 6.60%. The bank is giving maximum interest rate of 7.50% to general citizens and 8% interest to senior citizens.</li>
<li>Kotak Mahindra Bank increased interest rates on savings schemes by up to 50 bps on January 4, 2023. On FDs maturing in 390 days to less than two years, the bank is now offering a maximum interest of 7% to the general public, while the rate for senior citizens is 7.50%.</li>
<li>Yes Bank has announced a change in the interest rate on FDs up to ₹ 2 crore on January 3, 2023. The bank is offering interest between 3.25% and 7.00% to the general public, while the rate for senior citizens is 3.75% to 7.75% on deposits ranging from 7 days to 120 months.</li>

<h3><strong><span>Bandhan Bank</span></strong></h3>
<p><span>The interest rates on Fixed Deposits offered by Bandhan Bank are effective from August 22, 2022. The new rates are applicable to retail accounts of less than Rs 2 crore. Bandhan Bank guarantees an interest rate of 7.50% to senior individuals on fixed deposits maturing in more than 18 months but less than two years.</span></p>
<h3><strong>Jana Small Finance Bank</strong></h3>
<p><span>Jana Small Finance Bank FD interest rates are valid from June 15, 2022 and the new card rates are applicable on accounts below INR 2 Crore. At present, Jana Small Finance Bank offers FD returns to senior citizens at an interest rate of 8.05% with maturity between 1 to 2 years.</span></p>
<h3><strong>Yes Bank</strong></h3>

<h3><strong><span>Utkarsh Small Finance Bank</span></strong></h3>

IDFC First Bank has decided to pay higher interest on FDs ranging from Rs 2 crore to Rs 25 crore. Similarly, Bandhan Bank has also decided to pay more interest on FDs of Rs 2 crore and above. The bank is now giving up to 7.80 percent interest on FD. The new interest rates have come into effect from 26 September.</p>
<p>According to a Live Mint report, IDFC First Bank will pay 7.10% interest on FDs ranging from Rs 2 crore to Rs 25 crore with a maturity period of 366 days to 731 days. Similarly, the bank will pay interest at the rate of 7 per cent per annum on FDs completed in 732 days to 10 years. The bank has decided to pay 6.85% interest on FDs maturing in 271 days to 365 days, while customers will now get 6.45% interest on FDs maturing in 181 days to 270 days.</p>
<p><strong>Will get more interest</strong></p>
<p>The bank has decided to pay 6.35% interest on FDs maturing in 92 days to 180 days. Interest will be 5.60% on FDs with tenor of 61-91 days, and 5.05% on fixed deposits of 46-60 days. Similarly, the bank will give 4.70% to 4.95% interest on fixed deposits that are completed in 7 days to 45 days.</p>
<p><strong>Bandhan Bank also increased interest rates</strong></p>
<p>Bandhan Bank has increased the interest rates of Bulk FDs from Rs 2 crore to Rs 50 crore and above. The bank has decided to pay 7.25% interest on fixed deposits with tenure ranging from 365 days to less than 15 months. The interest rate on FDs ranging from 15 months to less than 5 years is 6.15%. The bank is paying 5% interest on FDs maturing in a period of 5 years to 10 years. The interest rate on FDs maturing from 91 days to 364 days is 6%. Similarly, FDs with tenures ranging from 46 days to 90 days will get 5.05% interest. According to the bank&#8217;s official website, the new interest rates will be effective from September 16, 2022, for both domestic and non-resident Rupee Savings Bank accounts. After the change, the bank will now give interest up to 6.50 percent to the savings account holder.</p>
<p>According to the official website of Bandhan Bank, if you have a balance of up to Rs 1 lakh in your savings account, then you will get interest at the rate of 3.00 percent. At the same time, 6.00 percent interest rate is available on the balance of 1 to 10 lakh rupees. At the same time, 6.25 percent interest rate is being offered by the bank on deposits of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 2 crore.</p>
<p>The bank will now give 6.00 percent interest rate on the daily balance of 2 crores to 10 crores in the savings account. Saving account holders will now get an interest rate of 6.00 percent on a daily balance of 10 crores to 50 crores in the savings account and savings account holders will now get the maximum interest rate of 6.50% on the daily balance of 50 crores to 100 crores in the savings account.</p>
<p>The above interest rates will be determined per day on the basis of the day-end outstanding balance of the accounts.
