Labor Day is celebrated every year on May 1. May 1 is also Maharashtra Day. On this day all banks and stock markets in Maharashtra will remain closed. On this day banks will remain closed in Belapur, Bangalore, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji, Patna and Thiruvananthapuram.

The stock market is also closed on May 1

BSE and NSE located in Mumbai will also remain closed on May 1 on the occasion of Maharashtra Day. There will be no trading in the stock market on this day. Holidays are different in every state.
