The government will implement new schemes to promote green buildings, solar energy, electric vehicles and pollution control. There is good news for pensioners in this budget. Finance Minister Diya Kumari announced an increase in the pension amount, which will directly benefit the elderly, disabled, widows and farmers.

Hike in pension amount

It was announced in the budget that the elderly, single women, widows and small and marginal farmers of the low income group will now receive a pension of Rs 1250 per month. This increase will benefit lakhs of beneficiaries under the Social Security Pension Scheme.

Special schemes for children:

The budget has announced setting up of Child Care Institutes in 10 districts, which will provide better care and protection to needy children.

Increase in Housing Schemes:

Under the housing schemes run for deprived women and disabled persons, the assistance amount per beneficiary has been increased to Rs. 3250.

Continuous improvement in social security

At the beginning of the Social Security Pension Scheme in Rajasthan, the pension amount was Rs 500 per month. In 2019, it was increased to Rs 750, and in 2023 it increased to Rs 1000. Now the Bhajanlal government has decided to make it Rs 1250, which will directly benefit about 90 lakh beneficiaries of the state.

This budget not only focuses on environmental protection but also gives priority to the welfare of the weaker sections of the society.

But now a new scheme is being started with the government’s joint venture Rajasthan State Gas Limited (RSGL). This scheme is being started to promote green energy. The scheme is going to start from September 20. Under this scheme, people will be given the facility of free domestic gas for 1 month.

Actually, the government is implementing an incentive scheme for domestic gas connection through pipeline. Under this, free gas will be given to the consumers for about a month.

1 thousand consumers will get benefit

Rajasthan State Gas Limited (RSGL), a joint venture of the Rajasthan government, has launched an incentive scheme for those taking new connections of domestic gas (DPNG) from pipeline from 20 September to 4 October on the occasion of its foundation day to promote green energy. RSGL Managing Director Ranveer Singh said that during this period, the first one thousand consumers taking DPNG connection in Kota city will be provided gas for about one month’s consumption free of cost.

You will not have to book the cylinder

Ranveer Singh on Thursday released the free PNG gas connection opportunity poster for those taking new DPNG gas connections. The work of providing CNG and PNG in Kota city is being done by RSGL. Domestic gas distribution through pipeline will be economical, safe and environment friendly, which will promote green energy. Also, there will be no need to book and change cylinders again and again.

He informed that RSGL is developing the infrastructure for CNG PNG facility in Kota city and is also providing CNG facility along with domestic, commercial and industrial connections. As per the incentive scheme, those taking DPNG connection will get 3.3 standard cubic meter SCM gas free of cost in each billing cycle for a period of 3 billing cycles.
