<p>Today RBI has cut the repo rate by 0.25 percent. After RBI reduced the interest, now banks have started revising the interest rate on FD. With the reduction in repo rate, it is certain that banks will reduce the interest on Fixed Deposit. Bank of Baroda (BOB) has revised the interest rates on bulk FDs ranging from Rs 3 crore to Rs 10 crore. These new interest rates have come into effect from 7 February 2025. The bank offers bulk FDs for periods ranging from 7 days to 10 years. Customers can check the new rates by visiting the bank&#8217;s website or branch.</p>
<h3><strong>Interest Rates on BOB FD</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>7 days to 14 days &#8211; For general public: 5 percent; For senior citizens: 5 percent</li>
<li>15 days to 45 days &#8211; For general public: 5 percent; For senior citizens: 5 percent</li>
<li>46 days to 90 days &#8211; For general public: 5.75 percent; For senior citizens: 5.75 percent</li>
<li>91 days to 180 days &#8211; For general public: 5.75 per cent; For senior citizens: 5.75 per cent</li>
<li>181 days to 210 days &#8211; For general public: 6.50 per cent; For senior citizens: 6.50 per cent</li>
<li>211 days to 270 days &#8211; For general public: 6.75 per cent; For senior citizens: 6.75 per cent</li>
<li>271 days and above and less than 1 year – For general public: 6.75 per cent; For senior citizens: 6.75 per cent</li>

<p>The new interest rates have come into effect from January 1, 2025. The bank offers bulk FDs for a period ranging from 7 days to 10 years. This change will not be applicable on already invested FDs. Customers can check the new rates by visiting the bank&#8217;s website or branch.</p>

The new FD has been named Monsoon Dhamaka Deposit Scheme. The bank has also revised its regular FD scheme. Bank of Baroda is offering high-interest FDs of 333 days and 399 days.</strong></h4>
<h4><strong>BOB&#8217;s Monsoon Dhamaka Deposit Scheme</strong></h4>
<p>BOB Monsoon Dhamaka Deposit Scheme is available for two periods. Bank of Baroda is offering 7.25% annual interest for 399 days. At the same time, it is offering 7.15% interest on FD of 333 days. This scheme has started from 15 July 2024. These interest rates are applicable on retail deposits of less than Rs 3 crore.</p>
<p>According to the information released by Bank of Baroda on 15 July 2024, senior citizens will get 0.50% annual interest rate. Senior citizens will get 7.75% per annum interest for 399 days and 7.65% annually. BOB Monsoon Dhamaka FD is offering a maximum annual interest of 7.90% for 399 days.</p>
