TRAI issued orders for telecom companies

TRAI has issued orders to all telecom companies providing services in the country to provide relief to mobile users from fake calls and messages. According to TRAI’s order, telecom companies will install an Artificial Intelligence (AI) spam filter in their system, so that fake calls and messages will not go to their customers.

Airtel started the work of installing AI spam filter

According to a report by NBT, Airtel has also started the work of installing AI spam filter. So on the other hand Reliance Jio will complete this work in the coming few months. According to reports, AI spam filters will also start their work from May 1, 2023, due to which mobile phone users will stop receiving fake calls and messages.

TRAI is preparing to bring caller ID feature as well.

TRAI has been working for a long time to stop fake calls and messages coming to mobile users. TRAI is planning to introduce Caller ID feature for the calling users. Under this feature, along with the photo of the person calling on your mobile phone, his name will also appear. However, telecom companies are not liking this feature as it may affect privacy.

System to install AI filter started
