After this, after the documents are verified, the certificate can also be downloaded through QR code. This information has been received from official sources of the Delhi government.

25 to 30 services will start

Initially, 25 to 30 services will be included in this scheme, which will be expanded later. To start the service, citizens will have to write “Hi” and send it to a fixed mobile number, which will move the process forward. The Delhi government will make this service available through chatbot in both Hindi and English languages, so that people of every section can use it easily. For those who do not have a smartphone or internet facility, the government will set up Common Service Centers ( CSC ) in every district, from where they can get help.

The pilot project is expected to start soon

According to government sources, this scheme is still under consideration and its pilot project can start soon. Officials believe that this facility will be a big step towards providing transparency, simplicity and 24×7 services to the people. It is worth noting that earlier the Aam Aadmi Party government had started 1076 doorstep delivery service, in which government services were delivered at home, but that scheme has now been stopped. ‘WhatsApp Governance’ is an attempt to give a new digital form to that thinking.

If this plan is successful, Delhi can become the first state in the country to provide citizen services in such a digital way. This will give relief to the people from long queues, middlemen and visiting government offices.
