]]> Central Railway Mumbai Division has announced the cancellation of several Mumbai-Pune trains from May 28 to June 2. This decision is being taken to simplify pre-non-interlocking (NI) work.

This is an extension of platform 10/11 at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CMST). Its aim is to include trains with 24 coaches. Central Railway has issued a statement requesting passengers to understand and help in the temporary cancellation of trains. The extension of platforms will help in connecting longer trains, thereby improving the efficiency of train operation in CSMT. This is the reason why many trains have been canceled between Mumbai-Pune between May 28 and June 2.
