RBI list of important local banks not changed

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Monday released the list of systemically important local banks for 2022. This list remains the same as last year as RBI has not changed the banks included in the list. Therefore SBI ( State Bank of India ), ICICI Bank ( ICICI Bank ), HDFC Bank ( HDFC Bank ) remain domestic systemically important banks.

RBI had brought the framework in 2014

The Reserve Bank of India on Monday said that State Bank of India, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank will continue to be recognized as domestic systemically important banks (D-SIBs). The central bank had issued a framework for dealing with D-SIBs in July 2014. Under this, the names of banks are disclosed and they are placed in appropriate buckets on the basis of Systemic Importance Scores (SISs).

SBI has maintained its position in the list since 2015. In 2015, RBI declared SBI as a Domestic Systemically Important Bank (D-SIB). After this, in 2016, ICICI Bank was declared as D-SIB. Whereas, HDFC Bank was added to the list on 31 March 2017. These three banks have retained their names in the list for 2022 as well. Explain that the current update is based on the data collected from banks till 31 March 2022.

There is a 6-day weekend every month

, according to the guideline, all public holidays of banks as well as regional holidays are also there. These holidays remain in all government and private banks. Like every month, in November, banks will be closed for six days as weekends on Saturdays and Sundays. Between 7 and 13 November there are two holidays, Saturday and Sunday. Apart from this, there are also two holidays.

Aizawl, Bhopal, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Belapur, Nagpur, Bhubaneswar, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Jammu, Shimla and Srinagar on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthik Poornima on 8th November 2022 etc. will remain in all cities. Banks will remain closed on Sundays as per RBI guidelines. Also, the second and fourth Saturdays of the month will also be a bank holiday. In addition to four Sundays, two Saturdays, there will be a holiday on November 8, 11 and 23.

Millions of beneficiaries get the facility of free ration
, this decision of the state government will benefit crores of people of the state. The sixth phase of the free ration scheme in Uttar Pradesh has started in September. In Uttar Pradesh, there are 15 crore beneficiaries who have taken benefit of Garib Kalyan Yojana, who are given free ration facility by the government. 

Wheat, rice and gram will be available in September
According to the information received from the government, earlier the distribution of rice was started due to the shortage of wheat, but now the access to wheat has become right again, due to which the month of September Wheat, rice, gram will all be distributed in this. 

Ration is being available
from June 2020: There were instructions from the Yogi government of UP to distribute free ration till June 2020. According to this, from July, ration card holders will have to pay in lieu of regular ration distribution. Under this, wheat will have to be paid at the rate of Rs 2 per kg and for rice at the rate of Rs 3 per kg. But at present the ration distribution schedule is running late by two months. In such a situation, people are still getting the benefit of free ration facility. 

Let us tell you that under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Anna Kalyan Yojana, the system of distribution of 5 kg rice
per unit will continue. In the last few days, the central government has extended this scheme many times.
