]]> School holidays in April 2023: New academic sessions are starting in schools from April 1 in most states. Also in the month of April there are many holidays due to many festivals and important dates.

Significantly, children get a holiday every Sunday and in some schools even on Saturdays. Also, due to many big festivals like Good Friday, Eid, Ramzan in April, children are getting a long holiday, so let us tell you on which days in April 2023 the children’s schools will remain closed.

  • Saturday 1st April is a holiday.
  • April 2nd is a Sunday holiday.
  • Mahavir Jayanti is a holiday on 4th April. Please tell that Mahavir Jayanti is a special day in Jainism.
  • Lord Mahavira was born on this day and he is considered the founder of Jainism.
  • Good Friday is a holiday on 7th April. Significantly, on the day of Good Friday one, Jesus was crucified in Calvary and he is remembered on this day.
  • Saturday 8th April is a holiday.
  • Sunday 9th April is a holiday.
  • Ambedkar Jayanti is a holiday on 14th April.
