Let us tell you that 5G services were first launched in India on October 1, 2022 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Currently, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio are the only two telecom operators offering 5G networks in the country.

In the initial rollout phase, 5G services were available in select cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Varanasi, Chandigarh and Delhi. With time, the services are being expanded to other parts of the country. Recently, Jio announced its 5G service in Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ludhiana and Siliguri, taking the total number of Jio True 5G cities to 72.Here we have prepared a list of all those 72 cities, as well as told on which day the 5G service was launched there.You can also see the name of your city in the list…

– Kochi, Guruvayoor Temple; Launched on December 20, 2022

– Tirumala, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Guntur; Launched on December 26, 2022

– Lucknow, Trivandrum, Mysuru, Nashik, Aurangabad, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Zirakpur, Kharar, Derabassi; Launched on December 28, 2022

Airtel 5G is available in these cities

Airtel’s 5G Plus is now Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Siliguri, Nagpur, Varanasi, Panipat, Gurugram, Guwahati, Patna, Lucknow, Shimla, Imphal, Ahmedabad, Vizag, Pune, Indore and Live in Bhubaneswar. Airtel 5G has also been deployed at several airports, including Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru, Lohegaon Airport in Pune, Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi, Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur and Patna Airport.
