DMRC appealed to the passengers

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is also fed up with the antics of such commuters. In order to curb such heinous acts in Delhi Metro, DMRC has appealed to commuters to report passengers behaving in an objectionable manner on the DMRC helpline number along with details like corridor, station, timings.

We request the commuters to conduct themselves responsibly while traveling by the Metro. If the other commuters notice any objectionable behaviour, they should report immediately the matter on the DMRC Helpline detailing the corridor, station, time etc.

DMRC issues warning for unruly passengers

Not only this, the DMRC has also issued a warning to the passengers who indulged in the heinous act. The DMRC on its official Twitter handle said that it will ramp up the number of flying squads of metro and security staff to keep a check on such behavior in the metro. Not only this, the DMRC said that necessary action will be taken under relevant provisions of the law against passengers who misbehave while traveling in the Metro.
