According to the District Transport Department, there are 33,607 DLs and 76,873 RCs in Bhojpur in which the mobile number has not been updated yet. Out of these, more than 50,000 numbers are more than 10 years old.

Vehicle owners may face problems

According to the new guidelines of the Transport Department, if the mobile number registered in DL and RC is not updated, then vehicle owners will not get information about departmental schemes and notifications. Not only this, vehicle owners may face problems due to not getting any OTP or information when needed.

Update your mobile number by March 31, otherwise action will be taken

Bhojpur District Transport Officer said that the DL and RC of those vehicle owners who have not updated their mobile numbers by March 31, 2025 can be suspended. He appealed that the vehicle owners should get their numbers updated as soon as possible so that any kind of inconvenience can be avoided.

How to update mobile number?

For Driving License (DL): Visit https://parivahan.gov.in/parivahan/

For Registration Certificate (RC): Visit sarathi.parivahan.gov.in and update.

Vehicle owners may have to face a lot of trouble if they do not update their mobile number on time, so complete this process soon.
