The barricades at all entry-exit points were removed around 6 pm on Friday evening. This has opened up the way for movement from the service road to the main road and traffic has started running on the main road of the expressway. Entry and exit points have been made at six places so that people of the city can easily travel on it. NHAI has made entry-exit points near Sector 65, near Sector 2, near Sector 8, near Sector 14, near Sector 17 and near Sector 30 Police Line.

Traffic has been started on a trial basis. This part has not been formally inaugurated. Street lights, railings, speed trackers etc. have been installed on the road. The speed limit for cars on the road has been fixed at 100 kmph, while the speed limit for trucks etc. has been fixed at 80 kmph. NHAI Project Director Dheeraj Singh said that now people can come to the main road from the service road and enjoy a smooth journey.
