]]> E-KYC is mandatory for ration card. If e-KYC is not done after 15 February 2025, then free ration card will stop. E-KYC is an online process through which your identity is verified. E-KYC process can be completed with the help of Mera Ration 2.0 app.

It is mandatory to get e-KYC done for ration card. If you do not get e-KYC done, you will not get ration card after 15 February 2025. UP Food and Supplies Department has set a deadline of 15 February 2025 to complete ration card e-KYC. If you do not do this, you will stop getting free ration after 15 February 2025.

What is e-KYC

E-KYC is an electronic process through which the identity of the user is verified. Its full form is – Know Your Customer. E-KYC is a digital process which verifies the identity of the user. Aadhar card is used in this. With its help, biometric or OTP based verification is done.

How to complete Ration Card e-KYC

  • For this, first of all you have to visit the Mera Ration 2.0 app. With its help, e-KYC can be completed.
  • First of all you have to visit Google Play Store.
  • After this, you will have to search for Mera Ration 2.0 app. Then you will have to install it.
  • After this, you will have to enter the mobile number and then enter the captcha code.
  • Then you have to enter the OTP, which will be received on your registered mobile number.
  • After this it has to be submitted.
  • After this you have to click on “Manage Family Details” option.
  • After this, the required information will have to be entered and e-KYC will have to be completed.
  • After this you have to tap on the submit button.

Note – Please note that the deadline for completing ration card e-KYC may be different for different states. Your family members can be verified in e-KYC. For this, Aadhaar card details of family members can be taken from you. Also other details may be asked. With the help of Aadhaar card e-KYC, information of eligible members is taken. Also, e-KYC is necessary to prevent fraud.

This app is more useful for those farmers whose phones are old and whose Aadhaar number and mobile number are not linked with you.

The method of getting OTP based e-KYC is also very easy

Apart from this, you can do OTP based e-KYC yourself by visiting PM Kisan’s official website pmkisan.gov.in. At the same time, you can also complete the process of e-KYC by visiting your nearest CSC center as per your convenience.

PM Kisan OTP based e-KYC Online Registration Process Step-by-step:

  • First of all, visit the official website of PM Kisan Yojana at pmkisan.gov.in.
  • Here you will see the option of e-KYC on the right side of the website, click on it.
  • After this a new window will open here you will have to enter your Aadhaar number.
  • After which OTP will come on your registered mobile number, enter it.
  • Next to this, click on ‘Submit’.
  •  As soon as you click on Submit, the process of e-KYC will be completed.

Eagerly waiting for the 14th installment to the farmer

Under PM Kisan Samman Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Yojana), 6000 rupees are given annually by the government to the eligible farmers of the country. However, the government does not give 6000 rupees to the farmers at once but in 3 equal installments of 2000-2000 rupees. Under this scheme till now the farmers have got the benefit till the 13th installment (PM Kisan 13th Installment). The last 13th installment was released in the month of February. Now farmers are eagerly waiting for the 14th installment of PM Kisan Samman Yojana.
