There are many people in India who are living below the poverty line. Many such people do not have money even for two meals a day. The Indian government provides ration to such people at a low price.

For this, the government also issues ration cards to these people under the National Food Security Act. With the help of ration card, one can avail ration at a lower price at the nearest government ration shops.

A few months ago, the government had issued a guideline for getting e-KYC done for ration card holders. In which it was made mandatory for all ration card holders to get e-KYC done. The last date for this was also fixed.

The government had earlier set the deadline for this till September 1. But later it was extended to November 1. And now the deadline for e-KYC for ration card holders has been extended to December 1.

All those ration card holders who have not completed the process of e-KYC by 1 December 2024. The names of all those ration card holders will be removed from the ration card and the ration cards of those people will be cancelled.

If you have not yet completed the e-KYC process of your ration card, then you can go to any nearest government ration distribution shop in your area and get e-KYC done through POS machine.

E-KYC done for 3 lakh farmers

Let us tell you that under the new facility, e-KYC of about 3 lakh farmers has been done so far. Government had started the pilot of face authentication feature in PM-Kisan mobile app on 21 May for testing. Till now the farmers were facing a lot of difficulties in e-KYC. Because the farmers whose mobile numbers are not linked to Aadhaar. His OTP is not coming. In such a situation, the farmers were not getting the benefit of the scheme. This time also the government had prepared a list of about 3 crore such farmers. Whose e-KYC was not done…

This is the way to download the app

To take advantage of the new facility, first of all download the FACE RD APP app from Google Play Store. After this, login to the Kisan Yojana app, type Beneficiary in it and write the Aadhaar number. After this, an OTP will come on the link number from Aadhaar, fill it here. Then set the MPIN and submit it. After doing this, you will have two options open, Dashboard and Logout, click on Dashboard, now all your details will be shown here. Here the face authentication feature will open, you can do face authentication by selecting the option of e-KYC.
