										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Employees Holiday: There is good news for employees and officers. Once again they will get the benefit of long leave. For this, the holiday calendar has been released. By releasing the holiday calendar for the year 2026, the General Administration Department has given relief to the employees and officers.</p>
<p>A total of 44 days of leave will be provided to the employees and officers working in the Bihar government in the coming year. Apart from general holidays, public and optional holidays have also been included in this.</p>
<h3><strong>Total benefit of 44 holidays</strong></h3>
<p>According to the Holiday Calendar 2026, a total of 44 holidays will be available. Apart from 11 days on general holidays, 17 days on restricted holidays and 15 days on public holidays, one day holiday has been declared on annual closing of accounts.</p>
<h3><strong>The rule of organizing work 5 days a week</strong></h3>
<p>As per the order of the state government, the rule of working for 5 days a week will remain applicable at the secretariat and directorate level, while the 6 day work arrangement in the regional office will continue as before.</p>
<h3><strong>Holiday on these days</strong></h3>
<p>There will be a two-day holiday on Holi on March 3 and 4, Republic Day on January 26, Independence Day on August 15, besides holidays on festivals like Durga Puja, Deepawali, Eid, Mahashivratri, Buddha Purnima and Christmas. Apart from this, there will be a holiday on March 22 on Bihar Day. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Employees Holiday: State government employees will get the benefit of long leave. A total of 45 days of leave has been announced. Notification has been issued for this. Under the notification issued, 45 days of holidays have been mentioned.</strong></p>
<p>Big relief has been given to the employees in Bengal. Holidays have been announced for the next year 2024. State government employees will get the benefit of 14 days long leave during Durga Puja. 45 days of holidays have been included in the holidays list for 2024 by the Bengal government. Its notification was issued on Friday. Which does not include weekends.</p>
<p>Officials indicated that the number of holidays may also increase as the office will be closed on the day of voting for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024. A total of 45 days of leave has been announced. Republic Day will be celebrated on Friday 26th January while Vivekananda Jayanti will be celebrated on Friday 12th January. 1st January is considered to be Monday.</p>
<p><strong><span>Declaration of holiday</span></strong></p>
<p><span>As per the notification issued, offices will remain closed from October 7 to October 21 for Durga Puja. The same Kali Puja holiday will be from 31st October to 4th November. A long holiday is expected in March also. Holi holidays have been scheduled for Tuesday, Monday, 2 days before Good Friday.</span></p>
<p><span>In such a situation, 24 public holidays have been announced by the Bengal government for the year 2024.</span></p>
<p><strong><span>Offices will remain closed on this day</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span>The office will be closed on Monday, January 1 in observance of New Year.</span></li>
<li><span>Swami Vivekananda birth anniversary on 12th January</span></li>
<li><span>Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose birth anniversary on 23 January and</span></li>
<li><span>Offices will remain closed on Republic Day on 26 January.</span></li>
<li><span>Three holidays have been declared in February, in which Saraswati Puja is on 13 and 14 February while</span></li>
<li><span>Holiday has been declared on 26th February on Shabe Barat.</span></li>
<li><span>4 holidays declared in March</span></li>
<li><span>Shivratri on 8th March and Holi on 25th March and</span></li>
<li><span>There will be a holiday on 26th March for Dolyatra and Good Friday.</span></li>
<li><span>Two holidays have been declared in April, on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr on 10 and 11 April.</span></li>
<li><span>Apart from this, there will also be holidays on 14th April on Bengali New Year and birth anniversary of BR Ambedkar.</span></li>
<li><span>There will be a holiday on 21st April due to it being Sunday on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.</span></li>
<li><span>While 1st May is Labor Day and 8th Rabindranath Tagore&#8217;s birth anniversary.</span></li>
<li><span>A holiday has been declared on Buddha Purnima on 23 May.</span></li>
<li><span>Holidays have also been announced in June and July, Eid ul Joha on 17th June.</span></li>
<li><span>And holiday has been declared on Moharram on 17th July.</span></li>
<li><span>Rath Yatra will be on 7th July, Sunday</span></li>
<li><span>Independence Day on 15th August</span></li>
<li><span>Rakshabandhan on 19th August and</span></li>
<li><span>Offices will remain closed on Janmashtami on 26th August.</span></li>
<li><span>Holiday declared on 16th September on Fatiha Dawaz Dahan</span></li>
<li><span>Holiday has been declared on Guru Nanak&#8217;s birth anniversary on 15th November.</span></li>
<li><span>December 25 has been declared a holiday on the occasion of Christmas.</span></li>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Employees Holidays: There is good news for the government employees and officers of Himachal Pradesh. The state government has released the holidays calendar for the year 2024.</strong></p>
<p>Under this, there will be 22 gazetted holidays in the entire year. There will be an additional gazetted holiday for women employees. There will be 16 gazetted holidays in the calendar year 2024 under the Negotiable Instruments 1881. Apart from this, there will be 12 optional holidays. The General Administration Department has issued a notification in this regard on Friday.</p>
<p><strong>Offices will remain closed for so many days in 2024</strong></p>
<p>According to the calendar, in the year 2024, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti will be on 14 April, Maharana Pratap Jayanti on 9 June, Karva Chauth on 20 October and Bhaiya Dooj holiday will be on 3 November. Due to Makar Sankranti 14th January and Easter Sunday 31st March being Sunday, employees will not get the benefit of these holidays.</p>
<p>Similarly, women working in government offices, boards and corporations will not get the benefit of two holidays, because Karva Chauth next year. And Bhaiya Dooj is falling on Sunday, although women will get leave on August 19 for Rakshabandhan.</p>
<p><strong>Holidays will remain closed for so many days in November</strong></p>
<p>There will be Sunday holiday in all government offices and banks of Himachal Pradesh on November 11, second Saturday, November 12, November 19 and November 26. Banks will remain closed on November 25 due to the fourth Saturday, while other government offices will be a working day.</p>

<p>On Sunday, there will be a holiday for female employees on the occasion of Diwali festival on 12th November and Bhai Dooj festival on 15th November, whereas on this day also male employees will have to come to work like every day. Apart from this, there will also be a holiday on 27th November on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sikh religious guru Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.</p>
