At the same time, some media reports have said that the 8th Pay Commission may take time till the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027.

How will the salary of the employees be decided?

At the time of the 7th Commission, 2.57 fitment factor was determined, on the basis of which there was a huge jump in the salary of employees and pension of pensioners. In such a situation, something similar is expected from the 8th Pay Commission.

How much can the fitment factor be decided?

The fitment factor means how many times the salary of the employees will increase. At the same time, the fitment factor for the new pay commission is expected to be around 3.0. If the pay commission decides the salary hike on this fitment factor, then there will be a huge increase in the salary of employees and pensioners.

If the government increases DA by 3 percent, then DA will increase to 56 percent.

Dearness allowance will increase on this date of February

The government will make this announcement before Holi. This time Holi is on March 14. The government will also release the installment of PM Kisan on February 28. There will be a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, February 26. After that the government can increase the dearness allowance of central employees.

Will DA be stopped during COVID-19?

Recently, during the Monsoon Session of Parliament, Union Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary clarified that the government is not looking at the possibility of releasing the 18 months of DA and DR arrears that were withheld during the COVID-19 pandemic. Answer: The new Model Tenancy Act (MTA) will likely be implemented. This will not affect existing tenants or landlords.

Answer: Yes, now written agreement has become mandatory for all types of rentals. This agreement will also have to be submitted to the Rent Authority of the concerned district. The rent and its duration will be fixed only on the basis of agreement between the landlord and the tenant. This will be mentioned in the written agreement.

Question: What will be the responsibility of the landlord for renting out the house?

Answer: Under the Model Tenancy Act, unless there is any mention in the rent agreement, the landlord will be responsible for many types of work. In this, the owner will be responsible for structural repair of the house, painting of walls, painting of doors or windows, replacement of plumbing pipes if required, electrical wiring etc.

Question: What are the responsibilities of the tenant?

Answer: The responsibility of repairing water logging, switch or socket repair, kitchen fixture repair, replacement of window-door glasses, maintenance of garden or open spaces, protecting the property from willful damage, etc. will be the responsibility of the tenant. The landlord must inform about any damage caused to the property.

Question: What happens in case of disagreement regarding the repair?

Answer: If the landlord wants to get some additional structural work done on the rented property and the tenant refuses to do so, then the matter can be settled in the Rent Court. For this, the landlord will have to file an application in the Rent Court.

Answer: No one can stop the essential supplies to the landlord or tenant of the property. This includes electricity, power, gas etc.
