How will Delhi Metro’s Momentum 2.0 work?

Many features will be given in the Momentum 2.0 app. According to the report, there will also be an option to recharge the Delhi Metro Smart Card instantly. Apart from this, smart payment option will also be available for other utility services. With this, users will also get the last mile connectivity option.

Will get these facilities

Apart from this, users will also get the option of virtual stores for shopping and digital lockers for metro stations. Travelers can also book bikes, e-rickshaws or cabs through the app. It will also show users the options of feeder bus, DTC bus and cluster bus from Delhi Metro station.

Talking about shopping, users can also buy groceries and other essential things through the app. Select brands will display their products. Users can also buy these products by scanning the QR code till the arrival of Metro.

DMRC has also announced that digital locker will be launched soon. It has been called Smart Boxes. However, initially this facility will be provided only at selected stations. According to the official statement, users will get features like secure, tech-enabled management parcel, security items and products from these smart boxes.

These user-friendly lockers will serve as a faster delivery option for e-commerce players. Apart from this, passengers can also use the smart box on payment basis. Talking about other facilities, information like condition of gates and accelerators, train timings, occupancy in coaches will also be available in the app.
