										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3><strong>New Delhi. If you are planning to invest in Fixed Deposit (FD), then this news is useful for you. Actually, public sector bank IDBI Bank on Tuesday increased the interest rate on 444 day FD to 7.85 percent. This increase has been made for a limited time and is valid till 30 September 2024.</strong></h3>
<p>IDBI Bank said in a statement that now interest will be paid at the rate of 7.85 per cent and 7.75 per cent per annum respectively on fixed deposits with tenure of 444 days and 375 days.</p>
<h3><strong>How can you book Utsav FD?</strong></h3>
<p>The bank said that this increase makes &#8216;Utsav FD&#8217; even more attractive for customers seeking higher yield. According to the statement, this offer is valid till September 30, 2024. Customers can easily avail the benefits of Utsav FD through the bank&#8217;s website or mobile banking app or any branch of the bank.</p>
<h3><strong>7.70% interest for 700 days tenure</strong></h3>
<p>Apart from this, IDBI Bank will continue to offer competitive rates on other special tenures under the Utsav FD scheme. Under this, the maximum interest rate of 7.70% is given for a tenure of 700 days, while for a tenure of 300 days it is 7.55%.</p>

<h3><strong>Slow growth of deposits</strong></h3>
<p>Let us tell you that the slow growth of deposits in banks has caused worry lines on the forehead of not only the banks but also the government. Meanwhile, many banks have come up with special FD schemes to encourage customers to deposit more money with them.</p>
<p>For example, SBI has launched the &#8216;Amrit Vrishti&#8217; scheme, under which the bank is offering 7.25 percent interest for 444 days. Similarly, Bank of Baroda has launched the &#8216;Monsoon Dhamaka&#8217; deposit scheme, under which 7.25 percent interest rates are being offered for 399 days and 7.15 percent for 333 days.</p>

<p>Federal Bank has made its customers happy by increasing the limit of their FDs. Federal Bank has increased the interest rates on FDs below Rs 2 crore. Federal Bank has announced a hike of 77 basis points in interest rates. According to Federal Bank, these increased rates will be valid only for a short time.</p>
<p><strong>New FD interest rates of Federal Bank</strong></p>
<p>Federal Bank is offering 3 percent interest rate on FDs maturing in 7 to 29 days and 3.25 percent on FDs maturing in 30 to 45 days. According to the bank&#8217;s website, it is paying 4.00 per cent interest on FDs maturing in 46 days to 60 days and 4.75 per cent interest on FDs maturing between 61 days to 90 days. 4.75 per cent on FDs maturing in 91 to 119 days.</p>
<p>Interest will be given at the rate of %. Those maturing in the next 120 to 180 days will now get interest at the rate of 5%. The bank is offering an interest rate of 5.75 percent on FDs maturing in the next 181 days to 270 days and 6 percent on FDs maturing in less than a year from the next 271 days.</p>
<p><strong>Now these will be the new rates</strong></p>
<p>Federal Bank is now offering an interest rate of 6.80 per cent on FDs maturing in 1 year to less than 15 months and 7.25 per cent on FDs maturing in 15 months to 2 years. FDs of more than two years and less than three years will now get interest at the rate of 6.75 percent. Maturity FDs of three years to less than five years will now get interest at the rate of 6.60 percent. The bank is offering an interest rate of 6.60 percent on FDs with a period of 5 years and above.</p>
<p><strong>How much interest is being received on savings account</strong></p>
<p>The bank is also offering an interest rate of up to 7.15 per cent on its savings account. BOB has increased the interest rates on retail term deposits with effect from March 17.</strong></p>
<p>This increase in term deposits has also been done for general customers and NRO and NRE. The bank has increased the interest of term deposits by 0.25 percent. These rates will be applicable for deposits of less than Rs 2 crore. Bank of Baroda has increased the interest on Tax Saving Term Deposit as well as Baroda Advantage Fixed Deposit by 25 basis points i.e. 0.25 per cent. Now the interest on FD (Fixed Deposit &#8211; FD) of Bank of Baroda has also changed.</p>

<p>DBS Bank India has increased the interest rates on fixed deposits of less than Rs 2 crore. The bank has increased the interest rate on FDs of 601 days to three years by up to 100 basis points. On DBS Bank FD, general people are getting interest from 2.50 per cent to 6.50 per cent and for senior people, interest is at the rate of 5.25 per cent to 7.00 per cent.</p>
<p><strong>Getting interest up to 8%</strong></p>
<p>From February 23, DBS Bank will offer a maximum interest rate of eight per cent to senior citizens and 7.50 per cent to non-senior citizens. These interest rates are applicable to FDs with maturity of less than 2 years, 6 months, 1 day and 3 years.</p>
<p>The bank is offering an interest rate of 2.50 per cent on fixed deposits maturing in 7 days. Whereas, DBS Bank has an interest rate of 2.75 per cent on deposits maturing in a period ranging from 8 days to 60 days. At the same time, there is an interest rate of 3.25 per cent on FDs with a duration of 61 days and 3 per cent on fixed deposits of 62 days and above.</p>
<p><strong>Know the latest rates</strong></p>
<p>Fixed deposits maturing in 181 days to less than one year will get interest at the rate of 4.75 per cent. Whereas, FD with tenure up to one year and 375 days will have 6.25 percent interest rate. On the other hand, there will be an interest rate of 7.25 percent on fixed deposits maturing in 376 days to 600 days. On the other hand, the interest rate on fixed deposits maturing in 601 days to two years and 6 months has been increased from 6.50 per cent to 7.25 per cent. That is, it has been increased by 75 basis points.</p>
<p>Let us tell you that amidst the volatility in the stock markets, everything is looking good for the Fixed Deposit investors as almost all the banks are offering interest giving inflation beating returns. As the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has increased the repo rate for six consecutive times and banks have increased the interest rates on FDs throughout the investment period.</p>
<p>In the 10 months of 2022, inflation has been more than 6 percent. <p>The official website of this private sector lender states that the bank&#8217;s new fixed deposit interest rates are effective from January 20, 2023. The bank is offering interest rate for deposits maturing in 7 days to 10 years which ranges from 2.65% to 6.00% for general public and 3.15% to 6.50% for senior citizens.</p>
<p>The bank is offering highest interest on deposits maturing in one year and one day. On this, the general public will get a maximum interest rate of 7% and senior citizens will get 7.50% interest.</p>
<p><strong>South Indian Bank FD Rates</strong></p>
<p>The bank is now offering an interest rate of 2.65% on deposits maturing in the next 7 to 30 days, while deposits maturing in the next 31 to 90 days will fetch an interest rate of 3.25%. South Indian Bank is now offering an interest rate of 4.25% on deposits of 91 to 99 days, and 5.50% on deposits of 100 days.</p>
<p>Deposits maturing in the next 101 to 180 days will now fetch 4.25% interest, while deposits maturing in the next 181 days to less than a year will now fetch 4.60%. On deposits maturing in 1 year, the bank is now offering an interest rate of 6.60% and on deposits maturing in 1 year and 1 day, South Indian Bank will now offer an interest rate of 7.00%.</p>
<p>South Indian Bank will now offer an interest rate of 6.50% on deposits of 1 year 2 days to less than 30 months and 7.00% on deposits of 30 months. Deposits with maturity of more than 30 months to less than 5 years will get an interest rate of 6.50% and deposits with maturity of 5 years to 10 years will get an interest rate of 6%.</p>
<p><strong>This bank also increased the interest rate</strong></p>
<p>City Union Bank has increased the interest rates on FDs of less than ₹ 2 crore. As per the official website of the bank, the new rates are effective from 18.01.2023. After the revision, the bank is now offering deposits maturing in 7 days to 10 years at 5.00% to 6.90% for general public and 5.00% to 7.25% for senior citizens. Apart from this, a maximum interest rate of 7.75% for general public and 8.00% for senior citizens will be available on the deposit period of 444 days.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>FD Rates: Most all banks offer higher interest and service to senior citizens. Do you know that apart from senior citizens, there is another category called super senior citizens.</strong></p>
<p>Persons above 60 years of age are called senior citizens and those above 80 years of age are called super senior citizens Persons above the age of 60 years are called senior citizens and those above the age of 80 years are called super senior citizens. Many banks offer higher interest to their customers. Here we are giving you the list of 4 banks which are offering more interest to super senior citizens.</p>
<p><strong>Punjab National Bank</strong></p>
<p>According to PNB&#8217;s website, super senior citizens above 80 years of age get 80 basis points i.e. 0.80 per cent more interest. PNB is offering a maximum interest of 8.10% to Super Senior Citizens for a tenure of 666 days. This rate has come into effect from 12 December 2022. Apart from this, senior citizens of 60 to 80 years are being given 0.50 percent more interest on 5-year FDs. This interest is being given on FDs of less than Rs 2 crore.</p>
<p><strong>RBL Bank</strong></p>
<p>For people aged 80 years and above, an additional interest of 0.75% per annum is being given. At present the bank gives 8.30% interest to senior citizens. These new rates have come into effect from 25 November 2022. Apart from this, super senior citizens can take advantage of an additional interest of 0.50% per annum.</p>
<p><strong>Indian Bank</strong></p>
<p>Indian Bank is giving 0.25% extra interest to super senior citizens. It is being given after the extra interest of 0.50 per cent being given to senior citizens.</p>
<p><strong>Union Bank of India</strong></p>
<p>An additional interest of 0.75 per cent is being given to all super senior citizens. These new rates have come into effect from 1 December 2022. The bank is giving a maximum interest of 8.05% to Super Senior Citizens. These rates are being given on FDs ranging from 800 days to 3 years.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Private sector bank Kotak Mahindra Bank has increased the interest rates on FDs for the third time in seven days. The bank has increased FD rates thrice since December 9.</strong></p>
<p>On Thursday, December 15, Kotak Mahindra Bank has increased the interest on some of its FD schemes by 0.25 percent. The bank is currently offering a maximum interest rate of 7.50 per cent on FD.</p>
<p>Let us tell you that in the monetary policy meeting held on December 7, the Reserve Bank had increased the repo rate by 35 basis points to 6.25 percent. After increasing the repo rate by the Reserve Bank, almost all the banks have increased the interest rates on FDs. Banks are increasing rates to attract more and more customers. Most banks are increasing interest on loans and FDs.</p>
<p><strong>Kotak Bank has increased FD rates three times in 7 days</strong></p>
<p>Kotak Mahindra Bank has increased its FD rates three times in the last seven days. Before increasing FD rates by 0.25 per cent on 15 December, the bank had increased FD rates on 10 December and 14 December as well. The bank&#8217;s new rates will be applicable to FDs with an amount of less than Rs 2 crore. The bank is now paying interest at the rate of 7% on 390 days FD. These new FD rates of Kotak Bank are effective from 15 December.</p>
<p><strong>New FD rates of Kotak Mahindra Bank</strong></p>
<p>Bank is now offering 2.75% interest to common people and 3.25% interest to senior citizens on FDs of 7 to 14 days. At the same time, for 15-30 days, interest is being given at the rate of 3 percent to the common people and 3.50 percent to the senior citizens.</p>
<p>Similarly, on FD of 390 days (12 months 25 days), it is offering 7 percent interest for the general public and 7.50 percent interest for the senior citizens. On FDs ranging from 5 years to 10 years, the bank is paying 6.20 percent interest to the general public and 6.70 percent interest to senior citizens. <p>This is a good news for people in rising inflation. Now the name of Suryoday Small Finance Bank has been included in the banks which have revised the interest rates of FD. This bank has increased its FD interest rates by up to 50 basis points. The revision of interest rates has been done for FDs of less than Rs 2 crore.</p>
<p>Now the bank is paying up to 9.1% interest on FDs of less than ₹ 2 crore. At the same time, senior citizens are getting interest up to 9.26 percent. The new interest rates have come into effect from 6 December. In a statement issued by the bank, it has been said that interest ranging from 4 percent to 9.01 percent is now being received on FDs of less than Rs 2 crore from 7 days to 10 years. At the same time, senior citizens will be given interest ranging from 4.50 to 9.26 percent.</p>
<p><strong>What are the interest rates</strong></p>
<p>The bank is giving 4% interest for a period of 7 to 14 days. At the same time, 4.25 percent interest is being received on FDs of 15 to 45 days. After this, 4.50 per cent on FDs of 46 to 90 days, 5 per cent on FDs of 91 days to 6 months, 5.50 per cent on FDs of more than 6 months to 9 months and 6 per cent on FDs of more than 9 months to 1 year. Getting percent interest.</p>
<p>The bank is paying 7% interest on FDs ranging from 1 year to 1 year 6 months. The same bank is paying 8.01 percent interest on FDs ranging from 1 year, 6 months to more than 2 years. The bank is paying 7.51 percent interest on FDs ranging from 2 years to 998 days.</p>
<p>The bank is giving 8.01 cheap interest on 999 days FD. 7.25% interest is being received on FDs that are going to mature in 2 months, 27 days to 3 years. 6.75 percent interest is being received on FDs of 3 years or more and less than 5 years. The bank is paying 9.01% interest on FDs maturing in 5 years. At the same time, 6.30 percent interest is being paid on FDs ranging from 5 years to 10 years.</p>
