Earlier on Tuesday, 24 carat gold had closed at an average price of Rs 62394 in the bullion market. According to the rate of IBJA, 23 carat gold closed at the rate of Rs 62144 per 10 grams. The rate of 22 carat was Rs 57153 and the rate of 18 carat was Rs 46796 per 10 grams. On the other hand, the price of 14 carat gold closed at Rs 36501. Whereas, silver closed at Rs 71042 per kg.

These rates of gold and silver have been issued by India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA). According to IBJA rates, the average price of gold and silver has declined in all the cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Jaipur, Indore and Patna.
