An important information has come for the students and parents of Haryana. The state government has officially announced that all government and private schools will remain closed on the upcoming 4th October and 5th October 2024.

This decision has been taken to make the voting process for the Haryana Assembly elections smooth. In this regard, written orders have also been issued by the district administration of the respective districts.

Reason for school closure

Keeping in mind the assembly elections to be held in Haryana, the administration has decided that all schools will be kept closed. Actually, many schools have been set up as polling stations. The administration needs time for the necessary preparations to set up polling stations in schools. Therefore, it has been decided to close the schools a day in advance.

Voting date and preparations

The voting date for Haryana Assembly Election 2024 is 5th October 2024. On this day voters will exercise their right to elect their representatives. But to make the voting process smooth and systematic, schools will be closed from October 4 itself. The administration aims to prepare the polling stations a day in advance so that no problems are faced during voting.

Suggestions for students and parents

This decision will affect all students, whether they study in government schools or private schools. Parents have been advised to use this time for their children’s studies. This holiday gives students extra time, which they can use in their studies or other activities. Meanwhile, on the day of voting, all voters should ensure that they reach their polling station on time. This will not only give them an opportunity to cast their vote, but it is also an important part of participation in the process of democracy.

Preparation of polling stations

The decision to close schools on October 4 has also been taken so that polling stations can be prepared according to all the requirements. Under this, the necessary facilities for voting in schools, such as ballot boxes, voting equipment, and security arrangements, will be ensured. The administration is taking this process very seriously so that there is no problem on the polling day.

This decision of the Haryana government is important not only for the students but for the entire society. This is a necessary step to make the voting process smooth. Students and parents should use this opportunity properly and understand the importance of voting. This election is not only the election of representatives but also our responsibility towards democracy. All citizens are requested to use their franchise properly and play an active role in this process of democracy.

The government has given great relief to goldsmiths and jewelers. Now jewelers will be able to sell non-hallmarked jewellery. However, the government has fixed a time limit for this.

According to the government’s announcement, till June 30, goldsmiths can sell their stock of jewelery without hallmarks. Let us tell you that from today i.e. from April 1, the government had banned the purchase and sale of non-hallmarked jewellery. But, just a day before this announcement by the government, jewelers and goldsmiths have got a big relief.

The government has given permission to about 16,000 jewelers to sell the old hallmarked gold jewelery declared till June 30. Now they have got three more months to finish their stock. However, this exemption is applicable to jewelery made before July 2021.

16 thousand jewelers will be benefited

About 16 thousand jewelers will benefit from this big decision of the government. According to the notification issued by the government, the government has amended the hallmarking order of gold jewelery in 2020. Under which the jewelers who had informed about their stock of old hallmarked jewelry have been given time till June 30, 2023 to sell them.

Let me tell you, there are 1.56 lakh registered goldsmiths in the country, out of which 16,243 jewelers had disclosed their stock of old hallmarked jewellery. Only those 16 thousand people have been given this extra time of 3 months.

Jewelery without hallmark will not be sold after June 30

According to the government’s announcement, after June 30, action will be taken against anyone who sells jewelery without hallmarks. They will have to liquidate their stock of old jewelery within this 3 months.

Let us tell you, the Government and the Bureau of Indian Standards i.e. BIS have implemented 6 digit HUID on gold jewelery from April 1. This 6 digit alphanumeric is mandatory on all gold jewellery.

Indian Railways New Rules: If you also travel by train, then there is important news for you. Actually, the Ministry of Railways has taken a big decision on unreserved tickets. With this, lakhs of passengers traveling by booking unreserved tickets will be facilitated.

In fact, under this, the ministry has increased the distance fixed for booking tickets through the app. According to the Ministry of Railways, the department has taken a big decision to stop the misuse of limited distance tickets.

Railway made a big announcement

That is, now you will be able to book tickets through the app from a greater distance than before from the journey starting station. Not only this, the ministry has issued orders related to this to the software maker Chris. It is worth noting that there are two types of tickets booked for traveling by rail, reserved and unreserved. Reserved tickets can be booked online or through the app for any destination from anywhere, but unreserved tickets can be booked only up to a limited distance from the journey commencing station.

Changes for which trains

Let us tell you that the Railways has changed the rules for booking unreserved tickets from Suburban and Mail-Express. But in trains like EMU, the same rules will be applicable as before.

Know what has changed

Now let us tell you what changes have been made by the Railways. In fact, till now tickets for suburban trains could be booked from the app only at a distance of 2 km from the start of the journey. For example, if a passenger has to catch a train from Delhi station, he could book an unreserved ticket from the app by reaching a radius of 2 km from the station.

But now after the new decision of the Ministry of Railways, now tickets can be booked up to a radius of 5 km. On the other hand, in Mail Express, 5 km before the start of the journey. Tickets could be booked within the radius of 20 km, but now the radius for these trains has been increased to 20 km. have been done.

Why was the rule changed?

Let us tell you that many times the network suddenly disappears when the passenger reaches near the station (within a radius of 2 km) in the mobile, due to which he could not book the ticket and missed his train. In view of this situation, the department has increased the distance due to which passengers can book tickets from a longer distance.
