According to Dr. Naresh Kumar, the heat wave will continue in Rajasthan for the next 4-5 days. Heat wave conditions may also develop in some parts of Punjab and Haryana. The temperature in Ganganagar, Rajasthan has reached 45 degrees Celsius. According to him, the heat wave that has been going on in northwest India for some time is not likely to subside now. Because in the coming days, no significant impact of the western disturbance will be seen.

According to the Meteorological Department, a special warning has been issued for eastern Uttar Pradesh where there is an alert of hot winds as well as hot nights. Similarly, a heat wave may start in Madhya Pradesh after 1-2 days.

Rains in South and North-East India

Heavy rains are lashing Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Orange and red alerts have been issued for these states. Wind speed may exceed 50 kmph.
