<p>District Magistrate orders closure of meat and liquor shops on 11th and 12th February 2025</p>
<p>District Magistrate Jalandhar Dr. Himanshu Agarwal has ordered to keep meat and liquor shops closed on 11th and 12th February 2025 in Jalandhar district in view of the Prakash Utsav of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji on 12th February and the Shobha Yatra being taken out by various religious organizations in this regard on 11th February, keeping in mind the religious sentiments of the people and in order to maintain the law and order situation, in exercise of the powers vested in him under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Code, 2023, during the said event, meat and liquor shops have been ordered to remain closed on 11th and 12th February 2025 along the route of the Shobha Yatra and near the place of the religious function.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>A holiday has been declared in schools in Mansa district on Saturday, January 18. In this regard, District Magistrate Kulwant Singh said that it has come to the notice of the District Education Officer that the entrance examination for class 6 is being conducted in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya on January 18, 2025 from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm.</strong></p>
<p>Exercising the powers vested in him under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, the District Magistrate has declared a one-day holiday (only for the students of the schools) in the schools designated for this examination.</p>
<p>He said that this examination will be held in Government Secondary School (Girls) Budhlada, Government Senior Secondary School (Boys) Budhlada, Government Secondary School (Boys) Bareta, Government Secondary School (Girls) Bareta, Government Secondary School Jhunir, Government Secondary School Bhamme Kalan, Government Secondary School (Girls) Sardulgarh, Government Secondary School (Boys) Sardulgarh, Government Secondary School (Girls) Mansa and Government Secondary School (Boys) Mansa.</p>
<p>Therefore, a one-day holiday has been declared for school students on Saturday, January 18, 2025. The District Magistrate said that all the staff of the said schools will be present in the schools as usual. This holiday will be under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.</p>

<p>heavy rains have been pounding several parts of north India for past few days, leading to land slides in many hill states and most rivers, including the Yamuna in Delhi, in spate. In many cities, including Delhi and Gurgaon, waterlogging led to traffic woes. Railway services have also been hit.</p>
<p><strong>Uttarakhand</strong></p>
<p>Haridwar district administration has ordered the closure of all schools from class 1-12 from July 10-17, in view of the Kanwar Mela. &#8220;In view of the Kanwar Mela, the district administration has decided to close all the schools and Anganwadi centres from July 10 to 17,&#8221; said District Magistrate Dheeraj Garbyal.</p>
<p><strong>Holiday in Ghaziabad schools till July 15</strong></p>
<p>In view of the Meteorological Department&#8217;s warning regarding rain, the District Magistrate of Ghaziabad has ordered all the schools in the district to be closed till July 15.</p>
<p><strong>Work from home appeal in Gurugram</strong></p>

<p>Banks will be closed for 13 days in September 2022. Therefore, you should know about the holiday of this month. Lest you reach the bank and find the lock hanging there. Weekend holidays are also included in the light which is being given ahead. If you have to go to the bank for some work in the next month i.e. September, then you will leave the house only after checking the list of holidays.</p>

<p>Let us first talk about this month i.e. the last week of August. August 27 is the fourth Saturday. After this, August 28 is Sunday. There will be a bank holiday on both the days.
