5. After which you will get an acknowledgment slip. Along with this, its details will also be sent to your mobile number and email ID.

Registration Fee

A fee has to be paid at the time of registration. This fee is different in every state. In Delhi, one has to pay Rs 100 for a general certificate. Instant marriage certificate means if you want the certificate on the same day of application, then you have to pay an additional fee of Rs 10,000.

Benefit of marriage certificate

1. If you want to open a joint bank account after marriage, then you will have to submit a marriage certificate.

2. Marriage certificate is also required while applying for passport.

3. If husband and wife want to apply for travel visa or NRI, then marriage certificate will have to be submitted.

After this, when your girl child turns 21 years of age, then the last payment of Rs 1 lakh is made to her. Now the government has increased the amount in this scheme, then the last payment will also increase.

Any person can deposit all the documents of his daughter in the Anganwadi or can contact the workers there. Application can be made from Public Service Center, Project Office or any Internet Cafe. After the application is approved, the government will give a certificate of Rs 1 lakh 43 thousand in the name of your daughter. The government has recently increased the amount received in this scheme. Earlier, a certificate of Rs 1 lakh 18 thousand was available under this scheme.
