										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h4><strong>Monsoon Rain Return: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rains in Uttarakhand, Delhi, western Uttar Pradesh for the next five days. Monsoon is likely to remain active in peninsular and central India.</strong></h4>
<p>According to IMD, at present the monsoon line is passing through the centre of the low pressure area over Jaisalmer, Kota in Rajasthan, Guna in Madhya Pradesh and South Odisha. Apart from this, a low pressure area persists over South Odisha and its adjoining areas.</p>
<p>According to the IMD, moderate to heavy rains are expected in Konkan and Goa on July 18 and 19, while in Madhya Maharashtra and coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana and Tamil Nadu between July 18 and 20. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for these states.</p>
<p>In its forecast, the Meteorological Department has said that there will be light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in Goa, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana during the next 5 days. Apart from this, IMD has also predicted light to moderate rain in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar and Jharkhand.</p>

<p>According to the IMD, scattered to moderate rainfall accompanied with thunderstorms and lightning is likely over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and East Rajasthan during the next five days. Heavy rainfall is likely at some places over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and West Rajasthan during the next 5 days.</p>
<h4><strong>Rain alert in Delhi</strong></h4>
<p>After the start of the week with rain, the weather in Delhi remained humid on Tuesday and the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.4 degrees Celsius, 3.2 degrees above normal. This information has been given by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). According to the IMD bulletin, the relative humidity was between 80 and 56 percent. The Meteorological Department has forecast generally cloudy sky and moderate rain on Wednesday. The maximum and temperature is likely to be around 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 25 degrees Celsius.</p>
<p>According to the IMD&#8217;s seven-day forecast, there will be a &#8216;yellow alert&#8217; in the capital for the next two days. In IMD&#8217;s color code, this means &#8220;be cautious&#8221;.</p>
<p>Safdarjung, the city&#8217;s primary weather station, recorded 2.7 mm rainfall in 24 hours from 8:30 am on July 15 to 8:30 am on July 16. The capital&#8217;s Ridge recorded 37.2 mm, Palam Observatory 31.8 mm, Delhi University 38 mm and Pusa 35 mm.</p>
<h4><strong>Heavy rain predicted in parts of Andhra Pradesh</strong></h4>
<p>The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains accompanied with lightning in parts of Andhra Pradesh for five days. <p>IMD Weather Report 12 June:After entering Kerala, the monsoon is gradually spreading to the rest of the country. However, its speed had slowed down in between. The northwest monsoon is currently passing through Navsari, Jalgaon, Akola, Pusad, Ramagundam, Sukma, Malkangiri, Vijayanagaram and Islampur. Conditions are favorable for further advancement to some more parts of Telangana and Chhattisgarh during the next 24 hours. Due to this, monsoon rains will start in many states and people will get relief from the scorching heat.</p>
<p>According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department at 8 am on June 12, light to heavy rains accompanied with thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds are likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura as well as West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 7 days.</p>

<p>The IMD has also said that West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and Meghalaya will receive very heavy rainfall during the next 5 days. Heavy rainfall is also likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh. Extremely heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during June 13-16.</p>
<p>The Meteorological Department has said that during the next 5 days, there will be rain at sporadic places in West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha along with thunder, lightning and strong winds. During the same time, winds will blow at a speed of 40-60 km per hour and light rain will occur in Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh.</p>

IMD has said that there is a possibility of heat wave in some areas of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Odisha during the next 5 days. At the same time, the temperature will also increase in some areas of Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand. There is a possibility of heat wave in some areas of Uttar Pradesh during 12-16 June.</p>
