Light to moderate rain and snowfall is possible in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh between 21 and 24 February. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Assam and Meghalaya during this period. Dense fog may occur in the morning in some areas of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Odisha.

The weather may change once again in Uttar Pradesh from February 18. The Meteorological Department says that the western disturbance will become active on February 19. After this it may rain again. Light to moderate rain may occur in most districts of Uttar Pradesh on February 20 and 21. Weather may change in Kanpur, Unnao, Sitapur, Hardoi on 19th February. Apart from this, there may be rain in the capital Lucknow also. There is also a possibility of lightning and hailstorm at many places.

According to the Meteorological Department, apart from moderate rain, snowfall activities can be seen in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
