										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3><strong>Very Heavy Rain Warning: The India Meteorological Department has forecast that heavy to very heavy rains may continue in Northeast India during the next 5 days.</strong></h3>
<p>The Meteorological Department has forecast that on June 18, very heavy to extremely heavy rains may occur at isolated places in Gujarat, North Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra and on June 19, very heavy rains may occur in many areas including Northeast India along with Gangetic plains of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha.</p>
<p>The India Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in many parts of the country for the next five days. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of very heavy rains for many areas. The IMD has predicted that on June 18, very heavy to extremely heavy rains may occur at isolated places in Gujarat, North Konkan, Central Maharashtra. On June 19, very heavy rains are expected in the Gangetic plains of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Odisha.</p>
<h3><strong>Monsoon knocks in many states</strong></h3>
<p>The Indian Meteorological Department said that the southwest monsoon has advanced into some more parts of the North Arabian Sea, remaining parts of Gujarat, some parts of Rajasthan, some more parts of Madhya Pradesh, some parts of East Uttar Pradesh, remaining parts of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand and some more parts of Bihar. The Meteorological Department said that conditions are favorable for further advancement in other parts of the country. A pressure area is formed over South Bangladesh and adjoining Gangetic West Bengal. Along with this, a cyclonic circulation is spread up to a height of 7.6 km. Very heavy rains are expected in many parts of the country in the coming five days.</p>
<h3><strong>Monsoon reaches Uttar Pradesh, heavy rain expected</strong></h3>
<p>Monsoon has arrived in Uttar Pradesh. The southwest monsoon has entered UP five days late than the normal time. According to the India Meteorological Department, the monsoon normally arrives in UP on June 13. The IMD said that with the arrival of monsoon, light to moderate rain occurred in various districts of Uttar Pradesh including Sonbhadra, Ballia, Mau, Ghazipur. According to this, the southwest monsoon is likely to advance to other parts of Uttar Pradesh in the next two to three days.</p>

<h3><strong>Monsoon arrived a week earlier in Rajasthan (Rajasthan Heavy Rain)</strong></h3>
<p>The southwest monsoon knocked on Rajasthan on Wednesday, a week before the normal time this time. The IMD has issued a warning of heavy to very heavy rains in most parts of the state. According to the India Meteorological Department, the monsoon is expected to advance to other parts of the state in the next two days. According to the IMD, the low pressure area formed over Gujarat is located over the central and northern regions of Rajasthan today. The low pressure area formed over Bangladesh has intensified and become a distinct low pressure and is located over Gangetic West Bengal. According to the IMD, rain activities will continue in some parts of the state in the coming days. There is a possibility of heavy and very heavy rains in some places in Udaipur, Kota divisions during June 18 to 20.</p>
<h3><strong>Heavy rain forecast in Jharkhand till June 20 (Jharkhand Heavy Rain Alert)</strong></h3>
<p>The southwest monsoon became active across Jharkhand on Wednesday. Heavy rains occurred in most parts of the state. The Meteorological Department has predicted that rain is likely to continue across the state till June 20. The monsoon knocked on the state on Tuesday, the effect of which was seen in 18 out of 24 districts. Abhishek Anand, Deputy Director of Ranchi Meteorological Center, said, &#8220;The monsoon advanced to the remaining districts like Latehar, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Garhwa, Palamu and Chatra on Wednesday.&#8221;</p>
<h3><strong>Heavy Rain Warning expected in Odisha till June 24</strong></h3>
<p>The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast that many places in Odisha will receive heavy rains till June 24. The latest bulletin issued by the IMD said that the low pressure area in and around West Bengal is expected to gradually move towards Jharkhand. Due to its effect, heavy to very heavy and extremely heavy rains may occur in some parts of Odisha between June 18 and 24. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains in 14 out of 30 districts of Odisha till Thursday morning.</p>
<h3><strong>Rain in Kerala, orange alert issued</strong></h3>
<p>The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Kannur and Kasargod districts on Wednesday, as continuous rains in many parts of Kerala have affected normal life. The IMD said that strong winds with a speed of 40 to 60 kmph are expected. The Meteorological Department has advised against going into the sea for fishing on the Kerala-Karnataka-Lakshadweep coasts on Wednesday and Thursday.</p>

The India Meteorological Department has predicted that heavy to very heavy rains will continue in many states from 28 to 31 May. Heavy to very heavy rains may continue in Tamil Nadu including western coast Kerala, Karnataka, coastal Maharashtra and Goa. Apart from this, a low pressure area is also forming in the Bay of Bengal.</p>
<p>Heavy rains are occurring in most parts of the country. Monsoon is also gradually spreading across India. Heavy to very heavy rains are occurring in many states of South and East India. Strong winds are also continuing. According to IMD, there is a possibility of extremely heavy rains in more than 5 states including Kerala during 28 to 31 May.</p>
<p>According to the India Meteorological Department, a low pressure area has formed in the northwestern part of the Bay of Bengal off the Odisha coast. It is slowly moving northwards. Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to continue over Kerala, Karnataka, coastal Maharashtra and Goa during the next 6 to 7 days.</p>
<p>According to IMD, there may be heavy rains in many areas in the coming 36 hours. There is a possibility of extremely heavy rains in the ghat areas of Maharashtra, Karnataka-Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, a new western disturbance may affect North-West India from May 29. The Meteorological Department estimates that due to this, there may be heavy rains in many areas.</p>
<p>According to the Meteorological Department, the southwest monsoon has advanced and has knocked on some more parts of the central Arabian Sea, Maharashtra, Karnataka, remaining Tamil Nadu, some parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Heavy rains are occurring in many areas.</p>
<p>According to a report by Skymet Weather, monsoon has covered the central and northwestern parts of the Bay of Bengal, remaining parts of Mizoram, Tripura, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, parts of Assam and some parts of Meghalaya, receiving heavy rainfall.</p>

<p>According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in many areas. Rain may occur in Northeast India, Sikkim, Odisha, North Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, South-East Rajasthan, East Gujarat and Lakshadweep. Light rain and thundershowers may occur in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Western Himalayan regions.</p>

<p>According to the IMD, there is a possibility of torrential rains from Northeast India to the West Coast and Southern Peninsular India. The Meteorological Department estimates that the period of strong winds along with heavy rains may continue for the next 6 to 7 days.</p>
<p>There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in more than 15 states of the country for the next 6-7 days. The India Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain, thunderstorm, lightning and hailstorm. The Meteorological Department (IMD Rain Alert) estimates that for the next 6 to 7 days, many states of North, East, Northeast, West and South India may experience strong winds and heavy to very heavy rains along with thunderstorms. Apart from this, the conditions for the entry of monsoon in the country are also favorable. There is a possibility that the monsoon (Monsoon in India) may knock in India before time.</p>
<h3><strong>Low pressure area forming in Arabian Sea</strong></h3>
<p>The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said in its latest update that a low pressure area is likely to form over the east central Arabian Sea off the coasts of North Karnataka-Goa. It will soon start moving towards the north and its speed will also be very fast. This low pressure area may intensify further by May 22. Due to this, heavy to very heavy rains are likely over the western coast of Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Karnataka and Kerala during the next 6-7 days.</p>
<h3><strong>Cyclone Alert!</strong></h3>
<p>The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that a low pressure area is forming over the east central Arabian Sea. It will soon start moving towards the north at a fast pace. This low pressure area may intensify further by May 22. According to a report by Skymet Weather, this system is currently centered near 16.5 degrees north and 71.5 degrees east. By May 22, it may intensify further by forming a deep depression. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in the western coast of Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Karnataka and Kerala during the next 6-7 days.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Weather Forecast across the country</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><span>Moderate to heavy rains and thunderstorms are likely over Coastal Karnataka, Konkan, Goa, North Interior Karnataka and North Kerala.</span></li>
<li><span>Due to heavy rains, sudden floods and waterlogging may occur in many areas.</span></li>
<li><span>Heavy to very heavy rains are likely in Marathwada, Rayalaseema, parts of Tamil Nadu.</span></li>
<li><span>West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya and East Bihar may also receive light to moderate rain and heavy rain at some places.</span></li>
<li><span>Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms is likely over Northeast India, Bihar, parts of Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, South-East Rajasthan and South-West Madhya Pradesh.</span></li>
<li><span>Light rains may occur over Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, East Gujarat, Lakshadweep and Andaman and Nicobar Islands with moderate rains at one or two places.</span></li>
</ul>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Thunderstorms continue in Northeast India</strong></h3>
<p><span>According to IMD, light to moderate rain may occur in Northeast India during the next 7 days.</span><br />
<span>Thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds with a speed of 40 to 50 kmph are likely along with the rain.</span><br />
<span>Heavy rain is likely at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya during 22 to 27 May.</span><br />
<span>Heavy to very heavy rains are likely in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till 25 May.</span></p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>IMD issued warning</strong></h3>
<p><span>Heavy to very heavy rains are expected over East Central and South-East Arabian Sea and Kerala, Karnataka, Konkan and Goa and adjoining South Gujarat coast and Lakshadweep area. The Meteorological Department has advised fishermen not to go to these areas during 22 to 26 May. During this period, fishing will be completely closed in East Central and adjoining North-East Arabian Sea. <h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Change of weather in Delhi</strong></h3>
<p><span>The weather has changed once again in the country&#8217;s capital Delhi. Heavy rains accompanied by strong winds occurred in many areas. The Meteorological Department predicts that similar weather will prevail in Delhi for the next one or two days. It rained in many areas on Friday, IMD predicts that the spell of rain and strong winds may continue today as well. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding rain and strong winds in Delhi.</span></p>
<h3 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Heavy to very heavy rains in Northeast India</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><span>According to IMD, heavy to very heavy rains are likely in Northeast India during the next 7 days.</span></li>
<li><span>During this period, strong winds can blow at a speed of 30 to 50 km per hour.</span></li>
<li><span>Heavy rains may occur at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya during 16 to 21 May.</span></li>
<li><span>Very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Tripura, Assam and Meghalaya on 17th and 18th May.</span></li>
<li><span>Today i.e. on 17th May, there is a possibility of very heavy rain at different places in Arunachal Pradesh.</span></li>
</ul>
<p>Rain, lightning and strong winds in western India</p>
<p>During 17 to 20 May, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada may experience thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds at the speed of 30 to 50 kmph. Light to heavy rains are likely in many areas. On 20 and 21 May, Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan and Goa are likely to experience strong winds at the speed of 50 to 60 kmph during 19 to 21 May, which may increase to 70 kmph. On 20 May, sporadic to heavy rains may occur in South Madhya Maharashtra, South Konkan and Goa. On the other hand, very heavy rains may occur in Konkan on 21 and 22 May.</p>
<h3><strong>Weather pattern in eastern and central India</strong></h3>
<p>According to the Meteorological Department, during the next 7 days, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, West Bengal and Sikkim are likely to receive scattered to light and moderate rains accompanied by thunder, lightning and strong winds at the speed of 30 to 50 kmph. Strong winds at the speed of 50-60 kmph are likely in Odisha on May 17, Bihar on May 17 and 18, Jharkhand on May 18 and 19 and Chhattisgarh on May 17. Scattered to heavy rains are likely in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during May 16 to 20. Rains are likely in the Gangetic plains of West Bengal and Bihar on May 18.</p>
<h3><strong>Rain, lightning and strong winds in North-West India</strong></h3>
<p>There is a possibility of rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds at the speed of 30 to 50 km per hour in Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during 17 to 21 May. There is a possibility of scattered to light rain in eastern Uttar Pradesh, eastern Rajasthan during 17 to 21 May. There may be scattered to light and at some places moderate rain in Punjab, Haryana, western Uttar Pradesh during 19 to 21 May.</p>
