7th Pay Commission DA Hike: Good news has come for the Central Government employees with the end of May. After waiting for a few months, the dearness allowance data of central employees will be completely clear.

However, on the basis of the AICPI index that came in April, it has become clear that how much hike in DA will the central employees get this time? There has been a good jump in the figures of AICPI index which came on the basis of April. It is clear from this that the DA of the employees will increase from 42 percent to 46 percent.

42 percent dearness allowance is given

At present, 42 percent dearness allowance is given to the employees by the government. After the increase of 4 percent, it will increase to 46 percent. This time there has been a rise of 0.72 points in the AICPI index. The increase in the figures will benefit 52 lakh central employees and 48 lakh pensioners.

Earlier, from January 1, 2023, the new dearness allowance was implemented by the government. The new dearness allowance will be implemented from July 1. An announcement regarding this will be made by the government in August or September.

Let us tell you that the figure of April came in May last, how much the dearness allowance of the central employees will increase, it is decided only on the basis of AICPI index. AICPI data for the first month is released at the end of every month. The April figure has been released in May last. The AICPI index of April has increased as compared to March. It was at 133.3 points in March, now it has increased by 0.72 points to 134.02. It is clear from this that there will be a good increase in DA this time also.

The number fell in February

This year from January to April the number fell in February. In the rest of the months, a steady rise is being seen in it. In January 2023, the AICPI index stood at 132.8 points. After this, it fell to 132.7 points in February. There was a jump in it in March and it became 133.3 points. Now in April it has increased to 134.02 points.

On the basis of April’s AICPI index, dearness allowance has increased beyond 45 percent to reach 45.04%. The number of AICPI index for May and June is yet to come. With DA crossing 45 percent, it is clear that this time also it will increase by 4 percent to 46 percent. Earlier, based on the March figures, the DA score stood at 44.46 per cent.

Who releases the data?

It is decided on the basis of AICPI index that how much will be increased by the government in the dearness allowance of the employees? On the last working day of every month, the figures of All India Consumer Price Index (AICPI) are released by the Labor Ministry. This index has been prepared for 88 centers and for the entire country.

How much will the money increase,

if at present the basic salary of a government employee is Rs 18000, then on this he gets 42 percent dearness allowance ie Rs 7560. But if the dearness allowance increases to 46 percent, then the dearness allowance will increase to Rs.8280 per month. Accordingly, the salary will increase by Rs 720 every month.

The post 7th Pay Commission: Good news on DA of central employees, salary will increase by 4%, will be implemented from this month first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

8th pay commission update: There is great news for central government employees. If you are also waiting for an increase in salary, then soon your salary is going to get a bumper increase.

Along with this, pensioners are also going to get huge benefits. A big update has been issued by the government regarding the 8th Pay Commission. If you are also waiting for the implementation of the Eighth Pay Commission, then good news has come for you.

Eighth Pay Commission will be formed

The government is soon going to set up the Eighth Pay Commission. It is believed that next year the salary of central employees can increase by more than 44 percent. Along with this, salary should be reviewed on any other formula other than the Fitment Factor. At the same time, a lot of changes can be seen in this pay commission as compared to the old commission.

There will be a bumper increase in salary

Let us tell you that the fitment factor in the Seventh Pay Commission was 2.57 times, after which the salary of the employees increased by 14.29 percent and due to this increase, the minimum salary of the employees was fixed at Rs 18,000. At the same time, under the Eighth Pay Commission, it is believed that this time the fitment factor may be 3.68 times, after which the salary of the employees may increase by 44.44 percent. At the same time, the minimum salary of the employees can directly increase from Rs 18,000 to Rs 26,000.

vaSalary may increase by Rs 26,000.

If the government sets up the Eighth Pay Commission on the same old scale, then the fitment factor will be kept on the basis of it. On this basis, the fitment of the employees can be done 3.68 times. On this basis, there can be an increase of 44.44 percent in the minimum salary of the employees. With this, the minimum salary of the employees can be Rs 26000.

When can the government implement the 8th Pay Commission?

At present, no proposal of any kind has been presented by the Central Government regarding the Eighth Pay Commission. On the other hand, if sources are to be believed, the government can introduce the Eighth Pay Commission in the year 2024 and it can be implemented in the year 2026. Let us tell you that to implement this, the Pay Commission can also be formed in the year 2024. At the same time, experts are assuming that general elections are to be held in the country, so the government can give a big gift to the employees soon.

8th Pay Commission should be formed soon. Unions of Central Government Employees are continuously doing this thing.

According to the information received from the sources, today on March 17, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi can hold a cabinet meeting. Central employees feel that in this meeting, apart from Dearness Allowance DA, PM Narendra Modi can also give them the news of the formation of the Eighth Pay Commission as a gift. Means, with the formation of the Eighth Pay Commission, the process will start that how and how much the salary of the central employees will be increased or this wait will only remain waiting.

Generally, every 10 years, central employees get a chance to get a substantial increase in salary through the formation of the Pay Commission. With the formation of this type of commission, the government would have started discussions with the employees’ organizations so that the salaries of the central employees working in different circumstances should be increased and allowances should be fixed according to the work.

Let us tell you that even after the implementation of the last pay commission, the discontent among many central employees regarding the minimum pay scale remained intact and they kept trying for a long time to get the government to accept their demands. But ultimately it could not happen. It is a different matter that in between, some demands from the government were also accepted later.

With the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission’s recommendation, the biggest problem faced by the employees was the acceptance of MACP by the Narendra Modi government. Let us tell you that because of this, the displeasure of the third and fourth class employees had come to the fore.

Please inform that before the Seventh Pay Commission, Rs 7000 used to be the minimum pay scale. Whereas after implementation it was reduced to Rs 18000. Then the unions of government employees were demanding to increase it to 26000. While a time had come (information quoting sources) that the government had agreed to increase it to 21000, but this thing remained only in discussions and the employees were not ready for it.

Presently, since the implementation of the 7th Pay Commission, the government employees working under the Central Government are being paid according to its recommendations. The Seventh Pay Commission was constituted on February 28, 2014. Justice AK Mathur was made the chairman of this commission. It has been implemented from January 1, 2016. The announcement to implement it was taken in the Modi cabinet meeting on 29 June 2016.

Let us tell you that like the employees of many state governments, now there is a demand among the central employees to implement the old pension scheme (OPS) on the abolition of the New Pension Scheme.
