According to the circular, by September 30, 2025, 75 percent of ATMs (automated teller machines) should have at least one cassette dispensing Rs 100 or Rs 200 banknotes. Thereafter, by March 31, 2026, 90 percent of ATMs should dispense Rs 100 or Rs 200 banknotes from at least one cassette.
