Validity of general ticket

Do you know that the general ticket issued by the railways comes with a validity period. According to the rules of the railways, the validity of a general ticket is only three hours. That is, if you do not start your journey within three hours after buying a general ticket, then that ticket becomes invalid i.e. non-valid. Which means that after three hours have passed, travel cannot be done on that ticket.

The aim of the Railways behind introducing these changes in the rules of general tickets is to ensure the safety of passengers and make the journey more comfortable. However, the official announcement of the new rules can be made soon by the Railway Ministry.
