										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>New Delhi: Indian Railways has cancelled the operation of Vande Bharat Express train between Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra. According to media reports, the Railways has cancelled this semi-high-speed train for 50 days. This train is being maintained and operated by the Northern Railway Zone.</p>
<p>Currently, a total of two Vande Bharat trains run between Delhi and Katra. These include train number 22439/22440 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express and train number 22477/22478 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express.</p>
<p>Out of the two, the Railways has canceled the services of only train number 22439/22440 New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi Vande Bharat Express. The New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Vande Bharat Express train covers a distance of 655 km in 8 hours and 5 minutes.</p>
<p><strong>On which day does the train run?</strong></p>
<p>This train runs on all days of the week except Wednesday. This train departs from New Delhi at 6 am and reaches Katra at 2.05 pm. On its return journey, the train departs from Katra at 2.55 pm and reaches the national capital at 11 pm.</p>
<p><strong>Where are the train stops?</strong></p>
<p>During its journey, the train stops at four stations en route. These include Ambala Cantonment, Ludhiana Junction, Pathankot Cantonment and Jammu Tawi. The train has two types of seats &#8211; AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car. To travel in AC Chair Car between New Delhi and Katra, the passenger has to pay Rs 1665, while the ticket for Executive Chair Car costs Rs 3055.</p>
<p><strong>When will the operation stop?</strong></p>
<p>Indian Railways has canceled the operation of the train from January 16 to March 6, 2025. 										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Train Cancelled: If you are going to travel by train in the next one or two days, then this news is useful for you. Railways has decided to cancel several trains in view of Cyclone Biparjoy coming in the coastal areas of Gujarat.</strong></p>
<p>On the other hand, Western Railway has decided to cancel a total of 95 trains for three days by changing several train routes in view of the cyclone. These trains will remain canceled till Thursday i.e. 15th June. At the same time, the Railways has also changed the route of some trains. Let us know on which routes the Railways has decided to cancel the trains.</p>
<p><strong>Railways has decided to cancel these trains-</strong></p>
<p>In view of the safety and convenience of the passengers, Western Railway has given information about fully canceled, short terminated, short originated trains by tweeting. Railway has shared the complete list of these trains. Western Railway has told that in view of the cyclone, this decision has been taken as a precaution.</p>
<p><strong>Western Railway made special preparations</strong></p>
<p>Earlier, Ashok Kumar Mishra, General Manager of Western Railway had said that he is monitoring the Biparjoy cyclone situation thoroughly. Along with this, disaster control rooms have been set up at many places in Gujarat. Along with this, ADRM has been deployed at railway stations like Bhuj, Gandhidham and Okha to help deal with any emergency. Along with this, in view of the cyclone in areas like Saurashtra and Kutch, Western Railway is taking various steps. Railways have decided to stop the operation of trains for one to two days at many stations like Veraval, Porbandar, Dwarka.</p>
<p><strong>Central and state government made this preparation</strong></p>
<p>Significantly, there are two types of cyclones forming in the Arabian Sea, out of which Biparjoy cyclone is the strongest, it has been more than 150 hours since its formation. In view of this cyclone in Gujarat, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has held a meeting with the state government for preparations to deal with this disaster.</p>
<p>A total of 12 NDRF teams have been deployed in different areas of the state.
