India’s leading airline IndiGo has made another big announcement and announced the start of daily direct flights between Mumbai and Adampur (Jalandhar) in Punjab. This service is starting from 2 July 2025 and with this Adampur will become IndiGo’s 92nd domestic and 133rd overall destination.

This new direct flight will provide a convenient option for both business and tourist travellers. It will especially help in connecting the agricultural and industrial areas of Punjab to the major ports of Mumbai, thereby increasing business opportunities. Along with this, this connectivity will provide local businesses access to national and international markets and strengthen the regional economy.

Mumbai to Seychelles flight schedule

Flight number 6E 1855 from Mumbai to Seychelles will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. It will depart from Mumbai at 07:20 am and arrive in Seychelles at 10:35 am. Flight number 6E 1856 from Seychelles to Mumbai will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. It will depart from Seychelles at 18:15 pm and arrive in Mumbai at 0:35 pm (next day). Seychelles, an archipelago off the coast of East Africa, is famous for its stunning beaches, clear waters and lush green forests.

IndiGo’s 39th international destination

Boeing 787-9 aircraft started operating

IndiGo has started operating a leased widebody Boeing 787-9 aircraft on the Delhi-Bangkok route. To meet the growing air traffic demand, the airline has temporarily inducted a Boeing 787-9 aircraft from Norse Atlantic before taking delivery of the A321XLR, which has longer range, and the A350. IndiGo is expected to induct the A321XLR next fiscal and the widebody A350 in 2027.
