Ticket booking facility through QR code in 61 stations of Southern Railway

Booking Tickets by QR Code At present, all 61 stations of Palakkad Division of Southern Railway including Mangalore Central and Mangalore Junction have been given the option of booking unreserved tickets through QR Code through Railway UTS App. Apart from this, renewal of season tickets and platform tickets can also be taken from QR code.

Halt stations will not have the facility of booking tickets through QR code

According to the information given by the Railways, this facility will not be available for halt stations run by private agencies on Southern Railway routes.

How to book tickets with QR code

Under this facility of Indian Railways, you have to make payment by scanning the QR code from the app using Wallet, UPI, Debit or Credit card or Net banking. You will see the QR code flashing on the machine, after which you will have to scan it. After scanning it and making the payment, you will get the ticket to your destination. To promote the facility of digital payment on behalf of the Railways, the facility of buying tickets through QR code has been started.
