It’s worth noting that approximately 25 million beneficiaries are registered, but only 13 million women have completed their e-KYC.

How to complete e-KYC

First, visit the scheme’s official website, ladakibahin.maharashtra.gov.in. Then, click on eKYC on the homepage. Enter your Aadhaar number in the e-KYC form, enter the captcha code, and tick the “Yes, I agree” checkbox and click the “Send OTP” button. An OTP will then be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. Enter the OTP and submit. If your e-KYC is already complete, the screen will display the message “eKYC already completed.” If not, the system will check to see if your Aadhaar number is listed for the scheme.

If it’s listed, the next step will open, and you can proceed. Enter your husband’s or father’s Aadhaar number and captcha code, receive the OTP, and submit. Select your caste category and make two declarations: First, no one in the family is in a government job or pension, and second, only one married and one unmarried woman in the family is taking advantage of the scheme. Tick the checkboxes and press the Submit button. Finally, the message “Success” will appear on the screen: Your e-KYC verification has been successfully completed.

These women will get only 500 rupees

But those women who are in the Namo Shetkari Samman Yojana will get only Rs. 500. Because these women already get Rs. 1000 from the Namo Shetkari Samman Yojana. That is why those women will get only Rs. 500.

How will the application be verified?

Women and Child Welfare Minister Aditi Tatkare has given information about this. Verification of the applications of beloved sisters has started. In which it has been found that some women are beneficiaries and their applications have been filled incorrectly. Some are in good financial condition. Some are already taking the benefit of another scheme and are now also taking the allowance of beloved sisters. There is a two-wheeler or four-wheeler in the house. Such beloved sisters have started the process of returning the benefits received by themselves, informed Aditi Tatkare.

The verification of the Ladkya Bahin scheme is being carried out by the employees of the Transport Department and Income Tax Department. This is ongoing. Due to this, some women have started returning the money on their own. This process will continue, Tatkare also clarified.
