Ladli Behna Yojana: There is great news for the sisters of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav informed at the Ladli Behna Sammelan in Seoni district that Rs. 1500 has now been sent to every sister’s account as the 30th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana. As per the promise made on Bhai Dooj, women will now receive Rs. 1500 every month instead of the earlier Rs. 1250.

More than 1.26 crore sisters of the state have availed this facility. A total of Rs. 1857 crore has been deposited in the accounts of more than 2 lakh 68 thousand sisters of Seoni district. The Chief Minister said that the Ladli Behna Yojana is no longer just a scheme for financial assistance, but has become a scheme that provides opportunities to sisters.

Sisters Gain Self-Respect and New Direction
Dr. Yadav stated that through the scheme, sisters have started small businesses, supported their children’s education, and learned new skills. Over 45,000 crore rupees have been deposited into their accounts so far. The Chief Minister emphasized that empowered sisters are the foundation of a strong Madhya Pradesh.

The government’s goal is to make every sister self-reliant, educated, and safe. He stated that, along with women’s empowerment, major changes are being made in the state in the fields of employment, agriculture, and tourism.

At the event, the Chief Minister inaugurated and performed the groundbreaking ceremony for 114 development projects worth over 560 crore rupees. He also announced the construction of a sports stadium in Ghansor and a bridge between Lamta-Pandiya Chhapara for the youth. He also inaugurated the world’s largest tiger sculpture made from scrap in the Pench Tiger Reserve.

Last date of application extended

The state government has extended the last date of application under Ladli Bahana Yojana to 15 October 2024. Earlier this date was 30 September, but now all eligible women can apply till this date. The Chief Minister has appealed to all eligible women to submit their applications on time so that they can take advantage of this scheme.

Scheme Details

The Ladli Bahana Yojana aims to provide financial assistance to women who are financially weak. Under this scheme, married, divorced and destitute women between the ages of 21 and 65 will be given assistance of Rs 1,500 every month. For eligibility, it has been ensured that the annual family income of the applicant is less than Rs 2.5 lakh.

Application Process

Women applying for this scheme have to keep in mind that applications can be filled only through Anganwadi centers. Therefore, interested women should contact their nearest Anganwadi center. The Chief Minister has instructed that the women applying must prepare their documents completely and correctly so that there is no problem in the application process.

Benefits to women who have already applied

So far 2 crore 30 lakh women have applied in this scheme. Money has already been deposited in the bank accounts of many of these women. The distribution of the first installment of this scheme was started on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, after which money has started getting deposited in the accounts of women. CM Shinde informed that so far 5 installments have been deposited in the accounts of women. In total, the government has sent about Rs 17 thousand crore directly to the Ladli sisters in their bank accounts. This scheme is becoming a means of financial security for women.

Now those women have also been given a chance to apply who could not apply earlier due to some reason or whose applications were rejected due to incorrect information. This opportunity is especially for those women whose documents were not complete or there was an error in filling the application. But keep in mind, it is necessary to correct all the documents before filling the new application.
