7th pay commission latest news: The next one year is going to be good for central employees. Good news can come for them one after the other. The Central Government has recently increased their dearness allowance to 42%.

Now it is the turn of the second allowance to increase. The speed with which inflation is increasing will also increase the allowances received by the central government employees. Dearness Allowance (DA) is revised every 6 months. Now the next dearness allowance will increase on the CPI-IW data from January to June 2023. Experts are assuming that DA will increase in the future also in the head of 4% only. In such a situation, there can be a new announcement regarding HRA. House rent allowance of central employees can also be increased.

House Rent Allowance (HRA) will now increase

House rent allowance of central employees can also increase soon. This will happen because the government has already issued a notification for this. By the end of the financial year 2023-24, the HRA of the employees will also increase. However, this will happen only when the dearness allowance reaches 50%. Experts believe that the way dearness allowance has increased in the last two times. Looking at it, it seems that HRA revision will happen in March next year. Because, dearness allowance has reached 42%. If there is a jump of 4-4% for the next two times, then the dearness allowance will be 50%. When this happens, the revision of HRA will happen automatically.

Why is the HRA date confirmed?

Along with DA Hike, there is a jump in other allowances as well. The most important and important of these is the house rent allowance. In the year 2021, after July, the HRA was revised when the dearness allowance crossed 25%. In July 2021, the government had increased Dearness Allowance to 28 percent. The existing rates of HRA are 27%, 18% and 9%. The next revision is to be at 50%. Looking at the current situation, it is clear that there may be a 4% increase in dearness allowance in future as well. In this situation, HRA will be revised if DA is increased twice.

Employees will get tremendous benefits

According to DoPT, the revision in House Rent Allowance (HRA) for central employees (Kendriye Karamchari) is done on the basis of Dearness Allowance (DA). It is certain that by next year there will be a change in dearness allowance twice. Means after increasing in July 2023, DA will increase once more, which will be revised in March next year. In such a situation, there is every possibility of HRA crossing 50%. If this is to be believed, then the HRA will increase in the beginning of the year 2024 itself.

By how much will the HRA of central employees increase?

The current rate of HRA is 27%, 18% and 9% depending on the city category. This increase is applicable from 1 July 2021 along with DA. The government had said in a memorandum released in 2015 that HRA will be revised from time to time along with DA. The next revision in house rent allowance will be 3%. The maximum rate will increase from the existing 27% to 30%. But, this will happen when the Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) will be 50%. When DA crosses 50%, HRA will be 30%, 20% and 10%.

Who will get how much HRA?

The category of House Rent Allowance (HRA) is according to X, Y and Z class cities. The central employees who fall in the X category are getting 27% HRA, which will become 30% if DA is 50%. At the same time, for Y class people, it will increase from 18% to 20%. For Z class people it will be increased from 9% to 10%.

How much money will increase if HRA is increased?

Under the 7th Pay Commission, the maximum basic salary according to pay-grade at Level-1 of central employees is Rs 56,900 per month, then its HRA is calculated according to 27%. If you understand from simple calculation…

– HRA= Rs 56,900 x 27/100= Rs 15,363/month
– 30% HRA = Rs 56,900 x30/100= Rs 17,070/month
– Total difference in HRA: Rs 1707/month
– Annual HRA increase – Rs 20,484

How much will the salary of central employees increase?

Now if you understand according to the above calculation, then the maximum salary at level-1 is 56900. But, HRA will be 30% only if the total DA is 50%. In such a situation, there will be a big difference in the salary of central employees.

– Basic Salary: Rs 56,900
– Dearness Allowance (DA): 42%= Rs 23,898 per month
– HRA 27%: Rs 15,363 per month
– Total Salary: Rs 96,161/month

On revision of DA and HRA

– Basic Salary: Rs 56,900
– Dearness Allowance (DA): 50%= Rs 28,450 per month
– HRA 30%: Rs 17,070 per month
– Total Salary: Rs 1,02,420/month
– Net Salary: Rs 6,259/month

Note: Salary has not been calculated here according to other allowances and other salary structure. This is just for the purpose of explaining. The difference in salary can be huge if the rest of the allowance is added.

There is good news for central employees. Holi gift is going to be received in March. In the month of March, the government will pay the increased salary along with the dearness allowance (DA) of the central government employees.

There is bound to be an increase in salary. More than 1 crore central employees and pensioners will get the benefit of this. Dearness allowance has to be approved for January 2023. Dearness Allowance (DA Hike) will increase by 4 percent. PM Modi will seal it.

DA will be 42%

According to the Labor Ministry, in December 2022, the figure of All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (AI CPI-IW) had reached 132.3. Due to this, the DA of the employees has increased by 4 percent. DA will be increased from 38 percent to 42 percent. This can be paid to the employees in the salary of March.

How to get benefit up to Rs 1.20 lakh?

Central employees get money in proportion to inflation. In such a situation, the increase in DA by 4 percent is definitely a matter of relief. If the basic salary of an employee is 30 thousand rupees per month, then his salary will increase by 1200 rupees per month. On an annual basis, his gross salary will directly increase by Rs 14,400. The salary of Cabinet Secretary level officers will increase by Rs 10,000 per month. Means the maximum basic salary is Rs 2.5 lakh per month, they will get the benefit of Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand on an annual basis.

What is Dearness Allowance?

Dearness allowance is such money, which is given to government employees to improve their cost of living. This money is given so that even after the increase in inflation, there is no difference in the standard of living of the employee. This money is given to government employees, public sector employees and pensioners.

Changes every 6 months

Dearness allowance is given to improve the standard of living of the employees. This allowance is given to government employees, pensioners and public sector employees. Dearness allowance is given so that even after the increase in inflation, the employees do not have any problem in living their lives. Usually, Dearness Allowance is revised every 6 months, in January and July.

DA varies

Dearness allowance is given on the basis of salary of the employees. Dearness allowance is different for government employees working in urban, semi-urban and rural areas. Dearness allowance is calculated on the basic salary. A formula has been fixed for the calculation of dearness allowance, which is determined by the consumer price index (CPI).

This formula is used

Dearness Allowance percentage = Average of CPI of last 12 months-115.76. Now whatever comes will be divided by 115.76. The number that comes will be multiplied by 100.

The post Good News: Central employees are going to get a huge benefit of Rs 1,20,000, there will be a tremendous jump in salary after Holi first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

7th Pay Commission Update: About 62 lakh central government employees and 48 lakh pensioners are waiting for dearness allowance and dearness relief to increase. A decision on this is expected to be taken in the Modi cabinet meeting to be held in the first week of March before Holi.

This time the Dearness Allowance (DA) may increase by 4 percent. At present, central employees are getting 38 percent dearness allowance, which is expected to increase to 42 percent. But the employees will get this in the salary for the month of March only.

Dearness allowance will be applicable from January 2023.

The increased DA will be paid to central employees from January 2023. That is, the arrears of January and February will be given. Dearness allowance of government employees and pensioners is increased twice a year. This necklace is applicable from January and July of the year. The AICPI index has come down to 132.3 points in December. On increasing the dearness allowance by 4 percent from the government, dearness allowance of Rs 7560 will be available on the basic salary of Rs 18000.

It will increase annually by 9 thousand rupees, till now according to 38 percent, this dearness allowance becomes 6840 rupees. Talking annually, this increase works out to about Rs 9,000. Similarly, if we look at the figure of DA hike on the maximum basic salary of Rs 56,900, then it is Rs 2276 a month (Rs 27,312 a year). At present, the employees get dearness allowance of Rs 21622 per month, which will increase to Rs 23898 per month.

Will also get arrears of two months

Along with getting the money for DA hike in March salary, arrears of two months will also be available. Accordingly, good money will increase in the account. Apart from this, it is also being claimed in the media reports that the government can also fulfill the old demand of increasing the fitment factor of central employees after Holi. If a decision is taken on the fitment factor, there will be a significant increase in the salary of the employees.

At present, the basic salary of the employees is Rs 18,000. After the change in the fitment factor, it will increase to Rs 26,000. At present, on the basis of fitment factor 2.57 times and basic salary of Rs 18000, excluding other allowances, Rs 18,000 X 2.57 = Rs 46260. But if it is increased to 3.68, then excluding other allowances, the salary of the employees will be 26000 X 3.68 = Rs 95680.

DA Hike: The festival of Navratri has started. With this, the long wait for the increase in dearness allowance of the central employees is about to end. It is going to be announced by the government. According to sources, the formal announcement of Dearness Allowance will be made on 28 September i.e. on the third Navratri. The salary for September will come with a two-month arrear.

AICPI -IW (All India Consumer Price Index- Industrial Worker) index data is based on the government’s decision to decide the Dearness Allowance for lakhs of central government employees. . The figures for the first half of AICPI-IW have been released. With the index rising to 129.2 in June, the DA is set to increase by 4 percent.

The new dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1 , after the increase of 4% in the dearness allowance, the dearness allowance of central employees will become 38%. Earlier, the dearness allowance for January was announced by the government in March. At that time it was increased from 31 to 34 percent. The increased dearness allowance will be implemented from July 1. On the auspicious days of Navratri, paying it on behalf of the government will bring big money in the pockets of the employees.

How much will the DA become

if there is an increase of 4 percent in the dearness allowance, then it will become 38 percent. At present, central employees are getting 34% dearness allowance. With DA being 38 percent, there will be a good jump in salary. Let us see how much will the minimum and maximum basic salary increase with 4 percent DA?

Calculation on maximum basic salary

1. Basic salary of employee Rs 56,900
2. New dearness allowance (38%) Rs 21,622/month
3. Dearness allowance so far (34%) Rs 19,346/month
4. How much dearness allowance increased by 21,622-19,346 = Rs 2260/month
5. Increase in annual salary 2260 X12 = Rs 27,120

Calculation on minimum basic salary

1. Basic salary of employee Rs 18,000
2. New dearness allowance (38%) Rs 6840/month
3. Dearness allowance so far (34%) Rs 6120/month
4. How much dearness allowance increased 6840-6120 = Rs.1080 /month
5. Increase in annual salary 720X12= Rs.8640
