]]> New Delhi: The festive season has begun in the country. Some banks will remain closed for six consecutive days from Friday. These banks will remain closed from September 13 to September 18.

However, banks will not remain closed for 6 consecutive days across the country. Banks are closed on different days in different states due to festivals. But it is wise to go to the branch only after looking at the list of holidays. All government and private banks will remain closed for at least 15 days in September. These include the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays. However, now there is no need to go to the bank. You can do most of the work sitting at home through online websites and mobile banking services apps.

Banks will remain closed in Rajasthan on September 13 due to Ramdev Jayanti and Teja Dashami. The next day being the second Saturday, banks will remain closed across the country while September 15 is Sunday. Banks will remain closed across the country on September 16 due to Eid-e-Milad.

Banks will remain closed in Sikkim on September 17 due to Indra Jatra festival. Banks will remain closed in Kerala on September 18 due to Sri Narayana Guru Jayanti. Banks will remain closed in some states from September 21 to September 23. Banks will remain closed in Kerala on September 21 due to Sri Narayana Guru Samadhi. September 22 is Sunday while banks will remain closed in Haryana on September 23 due to Veer Shahidi Diwas.

The bank has informed its crores of customers through email and SMS that HDFC Bank’s online and mobile banking services will not work for 2 days.

Actually, according to the SMS sent by the bank to the customers, some transactions on HDFC Bank NetBanking and Mobile Banking App will not work on June 9 and June 16. Bank customers will not be able to use these services from 3:30 am to 6:30 am on June 9. Whereas the use of these services will be banned from 3:30 am to 7:30 am on June 16.

According to the bank’s website, some transactions like account, deposits, fund transfer (NEFT, IMPS, RTGS and bank transfer), online payment will not be available from 03:30 am to 06:30 am on 9 and 16 June 2024. During this time, HDFC Bank customers will also not be able to make payments through UPI.

Earlier, these works were prohibited

Earlier, the bank had said that it is upgrading a system to improve the banking experience of customers. This will improve HDFC Bank debit, credit and prepaid card services. For this, card related services will be affected for two days. Due to which, recently a system upgrade has been scheduled for debit, credit and prepaid cards from 12.30 pm to 2.30 pm on June 4. Due to this, you could not do any ATM withdrawal. Along with this, online, POS and Netsafe transactions were also banned.
