										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h3><strong>Monsoon IN UP: Heavy rain continues in UP. According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for many districts on Monday.</strong></h3>
<p>For today, an orange alert has been issued for heavy rain in 15 districts of the Terai and Agra divisions of the state. There is a yellow alert for heavy rain in 31 other districts and there is a possibility of lightning along with thunder in 64 districts. Senior scientist of the Regional Meteorological Center Lucknow, Atul Kumar Singh said that the monsoon trough line is still towards the Terai areas of the state. There is a possibility of heavy rain in the Terai and Agra region today.</p>
<p>Yesterday, Sunday, good rain was seen in various areas including Terai, Purvanchal. Waterlogging has occurred in many districts of Terai. Lakhimpur Kheri and Bhadohi recorded the highest rainfall of 120 mm. Chitrakoot and Pratapgarh received 110 mm rainfall, Aligarh received 100 mm, Varanasi, Ballia, Prayagraj, Mirzapur received 90 mm rainfall. Late Sunday evening, Gonda, Bahraich, Sitapur, Barabanki received light to moderate rainfall.</p>
<h3><strong>Here is the orange alert for heavy rain</strong></h3>
<p>Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, Mathura, Hathras, Agra, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun and surrounding areas.</p>
<p>Here is the yellow alert for heavy rain</p>
<p>Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Maharajganj, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Rural, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Ayodhya, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Kasganj, Etah, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor, Amroha, Moradabad, Rampur, Jalaun and surrounding areas.</p>
<h3><strong>The best rain of this season occurred in the capital</strong></h3>
<p>The capital received the best rainfall of this season on Sunday. After good rain on Saturday, the torrential rain that continued throughout the day on Sunday drenched the entire city. Due to this, the mercury dropped by 4.8 degrees in a day. Not only this, there was a difference of only 1.3 degrees Celsius between the day and night temperatures.</p>
<p>The maximum rainfall of 52.5 mm was recorded in Malihabad of Lucknow and 17.9 mm at Amausi Airport. The total average rainfall in the capital was 34.7 mm. According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of good rain in Lucknow on Monday as well. According to Atul Kumar Singh, senior scientist of the Regional Meteorological Center, this series of drizzle may continue on Monday and Tuesday as well. The intensity of rain will decrease from Tuesday. <p>After the monsoon became active again in the state, rain continues in most areas. On Tuesday, there was good rain in Purvanchal, Bundelkhand, Agra. The weather department says that there are signs of light to moderate rain in Bundelkhand and Vindhya region on Wednesday and in the Terai areas for the next three days from Thursday.</p>
<p>Ghazipur received the highest rainfall of 113 mm on Tuesday. Kannauj received 88 mm, Kushinagar 82 mm and Gorakhpur 72.3 mm. Prayagraj, Varanasi, Bijnor also received good rainfall. The weather department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in 18 districts of Bundelkhand, Vindhya and Agra region for Wednesday. There is a possibility of lightning with thunder in 40 other districts. Senior scientist Atul Kumar Singh said that there will be good rain in Bundelkhand and Vindhya region on Wednesday. Light to moderate rain will start in the Terai from Thursday.</p>

<p>Strong winds and rain have brought coolness in the air, rain will fall today as well<br />
The capital witnessed good rain between noon and evening on Tuesday. Along with the rain, strong winds of 30 to 40 kmph blew here. The air became cool due to the rain along with the strong wind. By evening, the weather in Lucknow became pleasant. By evening, an average of 4.7 mm of rain was recorded here.</p>
<p>According to Atul Kumar Singh, senior scientist of the Regional Meteorological Center, there are chances of drizzle in Lucknow on Wednesday as well. On Tuesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 33.4 degrees Celsius with an increase of 1.7 degrees.
