According to the Meteorological Department, there are chances of rain today and tomorrow i.e. on 25 and 26 December. In some places, till January 30, the forecast of rain is being expressed. There may be light and heavy showers at some places, while there is a possibility of hailstorm at some places.

Snowfall is happening on the mountains

According to the Meteorological Department, there is snowfall in the high altitude areas of Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Talking about Himachal Pradesh, cold wave intensified in the state due to light to moderate snowfall in the tribal areas and high altitude areas and intermittent light rains in the middle and lower hilly areas.

Officials said on Tuesday that there was 30 cm of snow at the top of Rohtang Pass, followed by 17.5 cm and 15 cm of snow at the North Portal and South Portal of Atal Tunnel respectively.
