The pension has been announced by former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal. While making the announcement, Kejriwal said, ‘One and a quarter lakh pensions have been added in our government. Now a total of 5 lakh 30 thousand elderly people will get pension. Wherever I used to go, the elderly used to demand pension. This has been implemented by the Delhi government. Ten thousand applications have been received in the last 24 hours.’

Who will get old age pension and how much?

1. Two thousand rupees will be given every month to a person aged 60-69 years.

2. An elderly person of 70 years or above will be given Rs 2500 per month.

Who will get Mahila Samman Nidhi?

The benefit of this scheme will be given financial assistance to those women between 18 and 60 years of age who are neither government employees nor pay taxes. Women will be eligible for the honorarium of Mukhyamantri Samman Yojana on submitting self-declaration and Aadhar card. According to official estimates, about 50 lakh women in Delhi are likely to benefit from this scheme.

1 thousand rupees to women above 18 years of age

Delhi Finance Minister Atishi says, “A new revolutionary scheme is being brought. The name of this scheme is ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’. Under this scheme, every woman above 18 years of age will be given Rs 1,000 every month. ” Delhi Finance Minister Atishi presented the 10th budget of the Kejriwal government in the Delhi Assembly.

Who will get the benefit of this scheme?

If you are a resident of Delhi and have a Voter ID card of Delhi, only then you can avail the benefits of ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’ scheme. You will be given Rs 1,000 every month by the Delhi government. The government has made a provision of Rs 2,000 crore for the welfare and empowerment of women under ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’ from 2024-25.

Who will not get the benefit of this scheme?

If you work in any government organization in Delhi or pay any kind of tax, then you will not get the benefit of this scheme. Apart from this, even if you are taking benefit of any pension under Delhi Government, you will not get the benefit of this scheme.

Which documents will be required?

If you want to apply for this scheme, then you should have Voter ID card, Aadhar card, PAN card and bank account details.

When will the application process start?

The application process for Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana will start after the Lok Sabha elections.

Self-declaration letter will have to be given

After the announcement of Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana in the budget, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said – To avail the benefits of this scheme, women will have to give a self-declaration letter. In which it will be clearly written that she does not pay any kind of tax and she is not a government employee. About 45 to 50 lakh women will benefit from this scheme.
