Earlier, two entry and exit gates were open. Now passengers will be able to use four entry and exit gates.
The new bus stand is the highest station on the Namo Bharat Corridor. Its height is 26 meters, length 215 meters and width is about 44 meters. This station is surrounded by high traffic routes on three sides in a densely populated area.

According to the location, this is the most important station of Ghaziabad. There is the highest crowd of passengers here. One of the new entry and exit gates, gate number one, has been built at Chaudhary Charan Singh Park. This will make it easier for passengers coming from Delhi to enter Namo Bharat Station.

This entry-exit gate is connected to the station through a foot over bridge. Its length is about 130 meters and width is about 6.5 meters. The second entry and exit gate number two is built towards Arya Nagar. It is also connected to the station through a foot over bridge.

Its length is about 20 and width is 6.5 meters. The last and important entry and exit gate number three of the station has been built towards Patel Nagar. It has not been opened yet. Soon it will be opened for passengers. This gate has also been connected to Ghaziabad Namo Bharat station through a foot over bridge. Its length is about 30 and width is 6.5 meters.

Construction is going on to connect Namo Bharat station to metro

Under the multi-model integration, the FOB is being constructed from Namo Bharat station to New Bus Adda Shaheed Sthal station of Delhi Metro’s Red Line. This FOB will connect Namo Bharat and Delhi Metro stations at the concourse level. Its length will be about 330 and width about 6.5 meters.

Automatic travelators will also be installed on this FOB for the convenience of passengers. Passengers will be able to use all the FOBs built at the station for free to cross the road.

The post Namo Bharat: Two new entry and exit gates opened at Namo Bharat station, check all details first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

NCRTC Ghaziabad Namo Bharat: NCRTC has started a free shuttle service connecting Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station and Shaheed Sthal, New Bus Adda Metro Station for the convenience of passengers.

This initiative is a part of the efforts being made by NCRTC towards improving last mile connectivity for passengers. Under this, an attempt has been made to promote environmentally friendly transport options. As the demand for this service increases, the fleet of this service running between the two stations will also be expanded in the future.

NCRTC Ghaziabad Namo Bharat: 300 meters distance between Namo Bharat and metro station

There is a distance of about 300 meters between Namo Bharat and Metro station. To improve connectivity between these two stations, e-rickshaws are available under shuttle service, which will ferry passengers from one station to another free of cost during peak hours and ensure comfortable, safe and hassle-free travel for passengers. Ghaziabad Namo Bharat Station is located at Meerut Mod Tiraha on Ghaziabad-Meerut road, which is between major roads.

NCRTC Ghaziabad Namo Bharat: You have to cross the road in an unsafe manner

The Meerut Mor Tiraha area witnesses a large number of pedestrians on a daily basis, especially thousands of residents of Ghaziabad who pass through the Meerut Road Tiraha for work and other daily activities. Apart from this, the nearby Shaheed Sthal Naya Bus Adda metro station also has a lot of passenger traffic. However, due to the lack of direct connectivity between the two stations, passengers have to cross the road in an unsafe manner to reach the metro station.

Foot over bridge is being constructed

NCRTC has started this shuttle service in view of the increasing traffic and giving priority to the safety and convenience of passengers. In the near future, Shaheed Sthal, New Bus Adda Metro Station will be connected to Namo Bharat Station through a foot-over bridge, ensuring safe and easy access. Currently, the construction of this foot-over bridge is in progress. During this time, this shuttle service will be available to ensure uninterrupted service for passengers.

On which routes will these electric buses run

NCRTC is actively working with feeder operators, cab services, auto-rickshaw and bike-taxi service providers to improve last mile connectivity for the convenience of passengers on the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Namo Bharat Corridor. Electric buses operated by Ghaziabad City Transport Services Limited are already providing last mile connectivity at all Namo Bharat stations in Ghaziabad.

These buses run on seven different routes including Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, DPS Rajnagar Guldhar, Duhai, Murad Nagar, Modi Nagar South and Modi Nagar North stations. Along with this, taxi services by mobility partners are also available for passengers, some of which also offer discounts for NaMo Bharat Train passengers.
