New Delhi: National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) has given clarification regarding the change in Fastag rules. Let us tell you that some time ago a report claimed that under the new rules, double tax will have to be paid for passing through the toll plaza if the balance is low or the Fastag is blacklisted. However, NPCI has clarified that the new rules will not affect the users.

There will be no impact on Fastag customers

NHAI has clarified that the purpose of the new circular is to resolve the dispute between banks regarding the Fastag status when the vehicle passes through the toll plaza. The new circular also ensures that Fastag transactions are done on time, so that people do not face any problems. NPCI says that the new Fastag rules will improve real-time payment.

Earlier it was claimed that 70 minutes will be given.

Earlier it was reported that if the FASTag is blacklisted on reaching a toll, then the user will have to pay double the toll. But if the user recharges his FASTag within 10 minutes of the FASTag being scanned, then the fine will be waived. After getting a low-balance alert, the user will be given a grace period of 70 minutes to recharge his FASTag, so that he can avoid the fine before reaching the toll booth.

Advice to customers for auto payment

NHAI has advised people to set auto recharge by linking UPI and bank account to Fastag wallet, so that people do not have to recharge manually again and again. If customers want, they can recharge Fastag in many ways. This includes UPI and netbanking payment system.

The last month of the year 2023 is about to start in December. In the last month of the year, there are many such tasks which you should complete at any cost because their deadline has been fixed in the month of December only. If you do not complete these tasks before the expiry of the deadline, you may incur huge losses. Know about them here.

If you have submitted the updated Bank Locker Agreement on or before December 31, 2022, you may need to sign and submit the updated Bank Locker Agreement once again. RBI has fixed December 31, 2023 as the last date for sequential implementation of the revised locker agreement.

UPI ID

NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India) issued a circular asking third party app providers and payment service providers to deactivate such UPI IDs, which have not done any transaction with their ID for a year. The UPI ID of such inactive customers will be deactivated by December 31. However, it has also been said by NPCI that such inactive accounts can be restarted but for this it is necessary to make at least one transaction. NPCI is a government organization that looks after the retail payment and settlement system in the country. NPCI regulates the UPI payment system.

mutual funds

If you invest in mutual funds and have not yet made a nominee, then you should complete this work before December 31, 2023, otherwise the mutual fund account will be frozen and you will not be able to redeem the investment. It is important for demat account holders to do this also. Despite having the facility to make a nominee, many people do not consider it so important and ignore it. Whereas it is very important to have a nominee to protect the family after you. Therefore, the deadline for this has been fixed as 31st December.

Aadhar card

If you want to update your Aadhar card, you can get it done by 14th December. During this period, you will not have to pay any fees etc. for Aadhaar update. After this you will have to pay the charge. If you update offline, you will still have to pay the charge for it. Let us tell you that the government has said that if you also have a 10 year old Aadhaar card, then you should get your Aadhaar updated.

SBI Amrit Kalash Scheme

If you want to take advantage of SBI’s special FD scheme Amrit Kalash, then you will have to invest in it by 31st December. In this special scheme which matures in 400 days, interest is being given at the rate of 7.10 percent. The deadline for this scheme has been fixed as 31st December.

The post Reminder for December: Complete these 5 tasks in December at all costs, if the deadline passes then you will be left regretting. first appeared on Rightsofemployees.com.

IMPS New Service: National Payment Corporation of India is going to make IMPS service more convenient. Under this, now up to Rs 5 lakh can be sent directly without linking the beneficiary to the bank account.

For this, only the mobile number of the beneficiary and the name registered in the bank will be required. This feature will be coming soon. In the present system, to send money through IMPS, registration has to be done by entering the name of the beneficiary, his bank account number and IFSC code of the bank.

This process of registration also takes some time. The amount cannot be sent until the beneficiary details are linked to the other account. Once the account is linked, the beneficiary receives the money through IMPS immediately. After the implementation of the new rule, the process of adding account details will not have to be completed.

Will be able to verify the beneficiary

It is being told that the new service of IMPS will also provide the facility to verify the beneficiary. With this, the sender of money will be able to see whether the account number of the person to whom he is sending the money is correct or not. The new feature will help the sender to double check the name entered in the bank details.

There will be expansion in these areas

NPCI said this new arrangement will be extended to corporates with wholesale and retail transactions. Its upper limit will vary from bank to bank depending on their policies.

Two ways to send money right now

– In the first method, to send money one has to use the bank account number, bank name and IFSC code of the bank. Using these, the beneficiary’s account has to be linked to one’s own account.
– The second method involves using mobile number and Mobile Money Identifier (MMID) to identify the beneficiary while sending money from one bank account to another. MMID is a seven digit number which the bank issues to its customer.

India is rapidly moving towards digital payments. RBI and National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) are easing rules to ease the way for digital payments.

For which Aadhaar based UPI payment service has been allowed. After the relaxation from RBI and NPCI, PhonePe has started a new Aadhaar based OTP service, through which UPI can be activated.

PhonePe becomes the first Aadhaar based UPI

PhonePe claims that it is the world’s first platform with Aadhaar based UPI service. The company claims that after the Aadhaar based UPI service, the number of new users making online payments will increase. Let us tell you that till now Debit card was required to use UPI service. But after Aadhaar based authentication, the hassle of Debit card will be over.

It is worth noting that a large population of the country does not have a debit card, who are not able to use the UPI service. Aadhaar based UPI service can prove to be very beneficial for such people.

How customers will benefit

In the current model of UPI, a Debit Card is required for the UPI PIN during the UPI registration process for each and every user. But as it is known that there are a large number of bank account holders who do not have debit cards. For these, Aadhaar based e-KYC can be done through the new service of PhonePe.

For this, you have to enter the 6 digit number of Aadhaar on the PhonePe App. After this you will receive OTP from UIDAI. After this your bank will complete the authentication process. After this, users will be able to do all the services of UPI payment such as payment check and bank balance check.

The use of UPI i.e. Unified Payment Interface has increased year after year in the country. According to the August report of NPCI (National Payment Corporation of India), which looks after the operation and maintenance of UPI, the backbone of digital payment solutions, for the first time in the country, the number of UPI transactions crossed 650 crores.

There has been a straight 85% increase in the number of transactions in one year. There has also been a significant increase in the value of transactions. With the increase in the acceptance of digital payments, you must also be making UPI payments. Do you know that your bank puts a limit on the transaction on you? You can pay with UPI only up to a limit. Let’s understand it.

Every bank keeps a daily limit for UPI transactions. That is, you can send or receive money only up to a certain amount in a day. Not only this, different banks keep their different charges on how much money can be UPI at a time.

Limit on UPI Transactions of SBI, ICICI, HDFC Bank

SBI UPI Transaction Limit

In SBI’s UPI transaction limit, a limit of Rs 5,000 has been kept for new users for 24 hours. In this, the UPI transaction limit is Rs 1 lakh. At the same time, the daily limit is also up to Rs 1 lakh.

ICICI Bank UPI Transaction Limit

ICICI Bank has kept the transaction limit of UPI for its users at Rs 10,000. Daily limit is also Rs 10,000 per user. However, if you are paying through the Google Pay app, then this limit will increase to Rs 25,000 for you.

HDFC Bank UPI Transaction Limit

HDFC customers can authorize transactions up to Rs 1 lakh or up to 10 transactions in a day. Note here that the limit of 10 transactions is only on fund transfer. If you make any bill payments or do merchant transactions, these will not be counted in it.

There is a limit of Rs 5 lakh per transaction on IPO application through UPI.

New customers or new UPI users who have changed their device/SIM card/mobile number can only transact up to Rs.5,000 in the first 24 hours. For iPhone users, this limit is 72 hours.

The post UPI Transaction Limit: Do you make UPI payments?
BHIM UPI limit is Rs 1 lakh

As we know, with the help of UPI, transactions can be done 24 hours a day. According to the information available on the NPCI website, a maximum amount of Rs 2 lakh can be transacted through UPI at a time. If a user transfers with the help of BHIM UPI, then he can transfer a maximum of Rs 1 lakh in one transaction. According to the information available on the NPCI website, the limit for one day from a bank account is only Rs 1 lakh.

There are mainly three types of limits

NPCI has given the freedom to all the banks to decide its limit according to their convenience. This limit may be different for different banks. There are mainly three types of limit regarding UPI Payment. The first limit is the maximum transaction value in a day. The second limit is the maximum number of transactions in a single time and the third limit is the maximum number of transactions in a day.

Up to 10 fund transfers can be made

According to the information available on the HDFC Bank website, with the help of HDFC Bank UPI, a maximum of 10 fund transfers can be done in a day. The value of the total transaction cannot exceed Rs 1 lakh. For new users, the limit for the first 24 hours is Rs 5000.
